From the moment you walk through the welcoming entrance till you drive away you are treated as a most welcome and honoured friend. While we don't usually stay at typical bed and breakfast accommodation, my wife and I enjoyed the relaxed and homely environment. There was nothing that Pat, our wonderful host, would not do to assist and make us...

Such is the warm welcome and astonishing attention that my friend and I eschewed the evening's concert near Darling on the first night we stayed just to enjoy the company of our hosts, Pat & Bobby, at Disa Lodge. Situated at 22 Long Street, just off the Main Road, the b&b is very close to the charming pleasures of the...

Thank you for your very kind words Peter. It's a pleasure for us to interact with our guests. We were the ones who enjoyed the time you spent with us. Darling produces such good wines and when we are able to share these together with our guests, it makes this business all the more worthwhile. We have a surprise for you...

A home away from home, pat and Bobby even took us out to their local, they washed our clothes and provided late night snacks. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy, such lovely people. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay! And thank you for telling us about all the places we should visit!...

Dear Martin, Sally, Jemma and Adam. We're glad you have arrived safely back in UK. We too had a great experience as your hosts. Next time around we'll take you to some excellent wine estates and make sure we all visit Darling's new craft brewery Darling Brew. A good time is ensured for all! Leicester City is still doing just...

My Mom and decided to go on a three day "girls weekend" earlier this month. We stayed at Bobby and Pat's, and what a fantastic experience it was. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. We arrived as guests, and left as friends. The rooms were lovely, the breakfast scrumptios and the laughs and conversations shared priceless. We will certainly...

Bobby & Pat are great hosts with lots of good information about the local area, things to do and where to go. A comfy room, huge shower and a tasty home-cooked breakfast made this a good stop on our visit to the west coast. Thanks!

All I can say is I had a most delightful stay at the lodge and enjoyed Pat and Bob's company very much. They were ever so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Our apartment was spotless, shower and bathroom facilities great and I would certainly recommend their Lodge as a stop over destination in Darling. Thank you...

We sent an email to the local tourism office for assistance with complimentary accommodation in Darling, during another of Paul Steyn's walks in aid of the Paul Steyn Foundation. Pat and Bobby from Disa Lodge without hesitation offered us accommodation. Disa Lodge is situated in the historic part of Darling and the beautifully renovated old house is enormous. Pat and...

We arrived at Disa Lodge to a very warm welcome from the owners, Pat and Bobby. What a lovely couple. They made us feel at ease straight away and it felt like we had known them for years. The room was very clean and comfortable. A lavish breakfast was served with yummy pork sausages and we got to taste Pat's...

From the beginning we were made to feel part of the family and welcomed with a cooling drink. Pat and Bobby are the perfect hosts. It is one of the older homes and as such the room had that "settled in" feeling, but was very comfortable with clean, crispy linen and towels. Would we go back there when in the...
