Our best overnight in a long time. Everything perfect. Very welcoming hosts. Spacious, well fitted room with all the amenities. Sumptious, tastfully presented breakfast? Will come back for a longer stay next time

The room was clean and well equipped including a very comfortable bed and much needed aircon for the warm day in Tulbagh. The host was friendly and we received a warm welcome and delicious breakfast the next morning. We will definitely recommend this guesthouse to others and it will be our first option for accommodation in the area in the...

This is a delightful place to stay in Tulbagh. It has easy access to town and the accommodation is clean and spacious. Breakfast was superb, especially with the freshly baked bread. Elize is an attentive hostess. I would certainly stay there again.

My wife and I overnighted at this sparkling clean guesthouse. The host was was very friendly and accommodating and presented us with a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our anniversary. The room was well appointed with a spa bath and a large double shower. Very nice pool was welcome on a hot day. This venue reached all expectations.

We had a really enjoyable stay at African Tulip and we very well greeted on our arrival. Our room was huge and the gardens and pool were delightful.tulbagh is a small town but Church St is very much a National Monument. Would certainly return in future,

Sadly we were only at African Tulip for one night. The warmth of greeting on arrival told us this was going to be good. We were then shown to a glorious luxurious bedroom. The views were stunning. It was a wonderful base for our brief enjoyment of Tulbagh and its history together with a drop or two of excellent wine...

We stayed at the guest house for the very first time and got a lovely room facing the garden and the pool area. The room was very  quiet. In the morning we had a great breakfast! The guest was perfect for our needs; with only a few minutes walk to the historic streets, the restaurants and the shops
