Most Spectacular views, breathtaking sunsets, magnificent sunrises in tulbagh
Rooms are tasteful, clean and well equipped.
We love the fact that pets are welcome

A true piece of heaven on earth.
This farm has a great atmosphere is a quick drive to escape the city buzz

The cottages are a good distance apart to ensure enough privacy

This place will definitely see us again

Really loved it here. Peaceful, comfortable, beautiful views, clean dam water. My husband caught fish everyday, so happy husband! We will def be going back there. The cottages are spaced a good distance away from each other, so no-one was disturbed. My stoep swing was my reading chair everyday. Very friendly staff and the perfect location!

My time at Reflections was just what I needed. I was looking for a place to get away to that was comfortable, safe, and peaceful - far enough from the busyness of everyday life and other people, but not too remote and isolated. The setting is absolutely stunning and the cottage (Kasteelberg) is laid out in such a way as to take full advantage of the views, whether you're lazing in bed, reclining on the couch with the aircon on, or enjoying your breakfast or sundowners on the stoep. The flies can be a nuisance but there is bug spray provided and they can be avoided entirely by eating your dinner inside with the doors closed. The cottage was neat and clean, apart from some of the dishes which had been "washed" by previous guests (but this is the norm for self-catering places, and it should be noted that I am a bit of a germophobe). I was really impressed with the friendliness and excellent level of service from my host, Ilze, who went out of her way to see to my needs/requests. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience all around.

The location and views are absolutely magnificent, but the accommodation was disappointing. Considering the price, the house was rather shabby. A number of small things could be done to make a big difference: paint the doors, put a bag in the bin, don't use one-ply toilet paper, provide decent sharp knives, supply an ice tray. It feels as if the owners are trying to get away with absolutely the bare minimum.

What an amazing little farm, beautiful views, lushes green grass, accommodation is extremely clean and tidy, owner was very nice, we needed fire starters, she went into town to buy and when she got back and saw the door closed she didn't disturb and just left the fire starter on the table outside... Which means she respects one's privacy.... And I thought that was really amazing... Thank you Ilze, best hostess ever

I can highly recommend Reflections Guest Farm. The indoor fireplace REALLY heated up the house, the kitchen was well stocked and the views just breathtaking! Our dogs just had the best time and the freedom of running around the large open spaces... We are booking to go again in Summer!

With it being our second stay at Reflections Guest Farm we weren’t disappointed. Peaceful mornings overlooking the small dam from our spot. The room we stayed in was spacious, with everything you need for making meals (self catering). There are various cottages so whether you’re alone or with a family there is something for you. We got our supplies from the local spar in Tulbach, a short 5 min drive away. This time round we had a little snow on the mountain to the right of us (Witzenberg)compared to last year although we had stayed in August so there was a little more snow then. Such beauty all around and hubby lit the fire and we had a braai on our second night, while we watched the sun setting behind the hills in front of us as well as listening to the birds settle in the reeds on the dam, just so beautiful! We ate at the Tulbach Hotel on the first night as we had enjoyed sight seeing the whole day and didn’t feel like making anything to eat on our return. The food was delicious and the restaurant was cozy and staff were friendly. Tulbach is a great place to stay and the trip there is absolutely gorgeous, with mountains, waterfalls, and baboons, along the route. Tulbach is surrounded by mountains (Obiqua,Groot Winterhoek, and Witzenburg) so it is lovely just to drive and stop at different places and enjoy the different spots along the way. We ended up in Ceres last year chasing snow and everywhere we went it snowed, even if it was light, it was fun, and if you get the chance to travel to the Matroosberg then do it because it’s breathtakingly beautiful!

Words cannot describe the peace and tranquility experienced at Reflections Guest Farm. This has to be one of our favourite gems of the Western Cape and we cannot wait to go back and visit again.

Everything was so meticulously thought out from the stone bathroom that made you feel like you were in a resort, to the farm style kitchen with gas stove and all the amenities you could need. An aircon was the cherry on top that made for peaceful sleep each night during the Cape Town summer heat.

Well done Reflections Guest Farm team!

We spent our 33rd anniversary at your establishment and Winterberg cottage was the perfect cottage and Reflection Farm was the perfect location for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility it offered and it felt like hoem-away-from-home.
Thank you for making our stay a memorable one
