Amazing! We loved being in the mountains and seeing our beautiful African skies at night. A BIG bonus, full solar and no load shedding! The cottage was gorgeous and clean. The host was very friendly and showed you to your cottage. We had a wonderful stay and maybe next time, make a weekend of it. A great place to recharge your “batteries”.

We got back to Tulbagh after 5 years. The cottage Raptor Rise was renovated, got a modern, well-equipped kitchen. The location, the wonderful garden, the house - it was just great. Thanks for the wood and the hospitality.

We recently hosted a party of wedding guests (as well as ourselves) at Raptor Rise and booked every room except for 2. All our guests raved about the cleanliness, views and fantastic self catering accommodation. There is not a box that they don't tick.

It was such a treat to stay at Raptor Rise. I had invited about 25 of my friends to join me, changed plans along the way and yet Raptor Rise always provided 5-star service, always remained flexible and handled every detail with perfection and character. Even the small details such as having everything we could need in the rooms and signage on the property. We were never wanting for anything.

Beautiful place, stunning views, plenty to do, there is ,wine and olive tasting nearby. Walks and mountain bike trails.Peaceful and a pleasant place , rooms fully equipped, comfortable and solar equipped for load shedding.

We had a wonderful time at Raptor Rise - the location is perfect if you are wanting to explore the wine farms and hikes nearby. The staff are welcoming and friendly and facilities are great - there were also lawn games which are a lot of fun. I would highly recommend Raptor Rise if you are going with friends, a partner or family.

Raptor Rise was a late booking on a Friday and I'm so happy that I did it. I will go back here, over and over. It's an amazing place. I can really recommend it to anyone who needs a breakaway from the city
