The hostess is friendly and welcoming and the property has been well set up. While the family room offers good value, the double room is somewhat too small and by comparison, over-priced. It was also rather hot as the room has no window, we opted to sleep with the door open as a result. The breakfast was adequate, the coffee was great.

In a nutshell, the Greenhouse offers everything a traveler needs, incl being a stone throw from downtown Tulbagh with its many historic spots, the wine and fruit farms, one of which have two safe hiking routes on the farm.

The best experience at Greenhouse guesthouse. Esthetical: The most beautiful building. The owner understands the secret of looking into finer detail. The garden is well maintained. The staff is willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a wonderful experience

Nice place just outside of the center of Tulbagh. Comfortable beds and nicely designed with wood, steel and face-brick. Stayed in the family room with a friend so one on the double and one on the single bed. Our room had a small kitchen with private outside braai but no stove. However there is a large communal kitchen with gas stoves, where they also serve the breakfast that is included in their very reasonable prices. Camila and her staff are very hospitable and I would not hesitate to book here again.

Good value for money hostel accommodation 5 minutes drive away from city center. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Very neat and clean rooms. Camila (the owner) is so helpful and a excellent host. She sent all the necessary information beforehand by whatsapp, including the gps location which was a nice touch. Uppon requesting to book in a hour earlier, she did not hesitate to accommodate us. Breakfast included and lovely to enjoy on the patio outside your room. Hammocks, swimming pool, braai area, wifi, common living room and big kitchen for guests to use. What more could you want. We lived in the family room, it had everything we needed, including small kitchenette and and a huge fridge. Perfect budget accommodation for your wedding guests to Tulbagh to overnight!

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here while attending a wedding and a weekend away. We slept in the double room, which was a bit small but comfortable. They have a firm mattress and clean sheets which you'd expect at any hotel in town. The owners are very friendly and quick to help out and offer advice. The entire hostel is clean and they have on-site parking. The free breakfast included is toast with cheese, jam and ham, but they have a guest fridge and a great set of pots&pans so you can bring along your own ingredients and make your own meal. They offer a lovely braai and supply the wood, they also have Dstv and an aboveground splash pool which give the hostel a holiday-house feel. The hostel is incredible value for money, and idea for. Backpackers and travelers looking for an overnight stay. I would recommend the family room for a couple, just to get the added space, for the slightly more expensive price. The rooms don't have air-conditioning, but they do have massive fans. The fans can be noisy though, so if that's an issue then I would avoid.…

At backpacker rates, this accommodation is incredible value for money. Beds were very comfortable and although it was freezing outside, the feather duvets and supersoft blankets did their job, and we were cozy. Loved the Brazilian hammocks, fireplace in the communal lounge and friendliness of the owners. The place was spotlessly clean and an absolute gem. Breakfast was adequate but not fancy; it was a bonus at that room rate. We'll be back. Only downside is that their signage is not big and it's easy to miss from the main road, but luckily we had Googled in advance so we knew more or less where to find the place.
