We stayed at Wittedrift for two nights at the end of November and it was utterly superb. Our room was enormous with everything in it required to be a lady of the manor. Hosts Carol and PJ are wonderful and we spent happy times in the gorgeous kitchen and on the back stoep overlooking the lush garden and sparkling pool, chatting. Wittedrift is also perfectly positioned, within walking distance of everything Tulbagh has to offer. And this little town has a lot to offer! We loved our stay and will be back!

We had a very pleasant overnight stay at the Manor House situated in the heart of historic Tulbagh. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and we were looked after by the staff overall. Thanks to our host Carol for breakfast in the morning and advising us to drive home via the Slanghoek valley.

We recently held our wedding receprion at Wittedrift Manor. What a place! What a dream venue. Carol advised us we should hold the event in the garden. It was magical. The welcome, flowers,food, wine, service. Nothing could be faulted. I couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend Wittedrift manor to anyone wanting an intimate wedding.

Home away from home. A very warm welcome awaited us on arrival. A beautiful furnished old home, where we felt extremely safe & comfortable. The rooms where very comfy, a great nights sleep. Breakfast served in the kitchen on a 8 to 10 seater table. The stay felt like we were far from CT, not just 1.5hr drive. To understand what one feels when entering Wittedrift Manor & spending a night - is to actually spend a night there; well worth the drive.
