What a glorious and beautiful property. We first received a wonderful welcome from the dogs, and were then welcomed with coffee and rusks from the amazing staff. The kitchen is a wonder to behold - full of fascinating items and collectibles. Such character! The breakfast was wonderful and it was hard to leave the next morning. The perfect place to stay in Tulbagh. Thank you all!

The friendly staff, the amazing art collection, the comfortable bed, the large rooms, the warming fire on arrival, the home away from home feeling, the friendly dogs, the breakfast treat and chatted to the host about what to do in the valley, her recommended restaurant which was hers was outstanding - Readers Restaurant - well worth dining here

What can I say about this lovely place that will give it true justice for what it is.? An eccentric place, with every wall covered in pictures and photographs, the ceilings have all sorts of things hanging down, and the furniture etc are all antiques! There is a lovely vibe in the building, and also in the garden. You have to go there to experience the amazing vibe. You feel like part of the family at breakfast time, sitting around the kitchen table! I'll certainly be back!!

We had such an amazing getaway in Tulbach at this amazing gem of a place. Amazing art work, DELICIOUS breakfast accompanied by friendly staff and host. Was such a comfy and welcoming place to stay, it felt like home.

Wittedrift manor house, as the name suggests, is not your bog standard modern accommodation Depending on your viewpoint this may be a positive or a negative. We had a great time and had the privilidge of sharing a meal with the hosts and two other visiting families. A great time was had by all. We also enjoyed the morning walks with PJ round a local vineyard and fruit farm. Thoroughly recommend if you are looking for something out of the ordinary with character

a warm welcome from the dogs , and great by a lady with a gorgeous smile with a offer of a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Rooms clean and comforatable with 4 poster beds.
