Simply magnificent. Superb house with everything you’ll need. 5 bedrooms with bathrooms on each large enough for vacation use. Kitchen was great and well-equipped. Living room and dining room very large and cozy for the colder nights.
But the best things: the outside surroundings. Very nice pool and facilities around the pool, as well as the spa (however pretty filled with chlorine as spas are at rental houses). and the view was simply amazing.
We loved every second at the house. For 12 days, we only had dinner once at a restaurant. 11 dinners were held at the House because of the BBQ and kitchen (and because you can drink plenty of great wines). All lunches were in nearby villages and cities such as Anghiari, Arezzo and some Vineyards approx. 40 min. away.
We will definately come back, however it was occupied the weeks we’d like in 2020.

Excellent place to stay for a group of friends or a big family. Beautiful house and surrounding with a gorgeous view. Clean and tidy - a bathroom to every bedroom. Very helpful host that helped us with arranging vineyard visit, biketour Tuscan dinner etc

We stayed here for a week in July, since my mother in law and her sisters decided to treat the whole family to a week in Tuscany.

The owner Valentina was very kind and helpful, this place is very well run.

The rooms and spaces were great, it seems a lot of time and attention has been put into making this place a wonderful retreat for travelers. The garden had its own Lavender, Rosemary, Lemonbalm, even lime and peach trees. You could pick and eat straight from the garden.

The swimming pool and surrounding area was of course where we stayed the most. Plenty of seating, and sunbeds here. If you like it a bit hotter, go for the jacuzzi with a view of the hills and grapeyards.

This place really is a gem, and I can recommend it to everyone thinking of a holiday with their entire family. This place has everything you need and more!

Thank you Valentina :)

I can highly recommend Agriturismo Il Castelluccio. We had a wonderful time at the lovely place, and we enjoyed the two houses, the pool, the lounge areas, the garden and terraces - and last but not least, the tennis court nearby :)

In addition, we always enjoyed talking with the owners, who came by to help if needed, and who made a tasteful 4-course Italian menu to us one night - in a perfect setting.

We stayed her for 3 weeks from late August to mid-September. Valentina and her family have an amazing property. 26 of us visited the villa over our stay and EVERYONE had a great time and thought the place was perfect. The setting is beautiful and Valentina provided some prepared meals and provided us with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location is perfect for trips to the major cities and all the sites in Tuscany. Couldn't be more happy.

We have just departed from Villa Castelluccio, and we must say, this villa is exceptional! From the moment we booked, Valentina was fantastic, answering every question and suggesting ways to ensure we had the best possible holiday.

Our group consisted of both family and friends, and the villa's size was perfect. With seven rooms offering various configurations, it suited us perfectly. We especially loved the living spaces, including the fabulous pool area with hot tub.

We also enjoyed meals cooked for us by Valentina and Ricardo and served outside overlooking the Tuscan valley. The food was extraordinary, made by true Tuscans, and Valentina’s mother even made our daily cake. We highly recommend this service; with 11 of us, having breakfast and dinner catered was worth every penny. We also experienced a pizza night using the wood-fired outdoor pizza oven. The pizza family that came was lovely, and the endless pizzas left us truly stuffed, with the surprise dessert being a delightful finish.

Additionally, we appreciated the local wine provided by Valentina—lovely and surprisingly, no hangovers despite indulging a bit too much! Another highlight was the E-bike tour we booked with Massimo, who took us on a wonderful trek through the Tuscan hills along the river. Again, highly recommend!

Now, we’re on our way to Rome by train, already wishing we could have stayed longer at the villa. We've already decided to return next year!

The place is great and the owners were really nice, but both houses are infested with bed bugs. We realized this only towards the end of the visit as we kept thinking we just had plenty of mosquito bites, but then realized that it was not possible, because they kept increasing during the night and in places where mosquitos don't usually bite. Towards the end of our visit it was clear that there was something in the beds. Three of us, out of nine, became were very badly affected. The worst was our 13-month-old baby whom we actually had to take to the doctor to get help with the bites.
The owners' response was that they were really sorry and they instructed us what lotion we should buy to treat the bites. The next guests were coming the same day we left, so nothing was going to be done about the bugs.
Otherwise the place is amazing! However, it is impossible to recommend it as no one wants to get bitten by the bugs, let alone bring them home in their luggage. The house should be professionally treated by bug exerminators.

Dear guests, we are still very sorry for this issue. We had a very rainy Spring that later until the mid of June and the humidity has caused problem that hadn't had for years. For this reason every week we follow a special process for mattrasses, pillows, beds, bedspreads, sofas, sunbeds. We are sure to have found the solution and recovered since in the last weeks we had no complains at all. We apologize again and we wish you a great Summer. Valentina

We loved our stay at il Castelluccio. The house is perfect and stays nice and cool. Outside there are two terraces where you can have breakfast or dinner outside. The main attraction is the pool with a nice view over the mountains and the Jacuzzi! The host is very friendly and helpful.
