If you look for a stay in Langebaan, you have to check in at Old Fisher House – run by the charming hosts Peter and Jean-Pierre.

The guesthouses are spacy and presented in fine decoration: You'll be delighted by the floor heating, the many power sockets and enough space for storing your belongings.

Also a spacy bathroom containing a shower with versatile shower heads plus different gel is a big plus.

Rounding up the comfort is the big sized bed (with separated matrices, lots of pillows and a cozy bedding), a side table providing a kettel for heating the provided coffee/tea.

The breakfast is famous for its variety, so every taste will be satisfied.

You'll enjoy this BnB all season long and having a walk on the beautiful nearby beach with restaurants in walking distance.

The moment we arrived Peter was there with cold towels & orange juice which was very well received .
He thinks of everything even down to finding two umbrellas outside our room when we had rain in the night .
Breakfast was delicious , would definitely stay again and definitely recommend

What a fantastic hidden gem. Such a pleasure to stay somewhere that is away from a main stream hotel/ B&B that has rooms all of the same. The rooms were all different, with real character and the decor had been thoughtfully tailored to meet each room.
The Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of it and a great variety that should suit all tastes. The owner was superb and nothing was too much trouble.
We wish we had booked for more than 1 night if we return to the area we will certainly stay there and for longer. We were 7 in total and the rooming arrangements could all be accommodated for.
The location is great literally a 3 minute walk away from the beach and close restaurant's nearby.

Disappointed in the 'luxury' room which was small, with no ceiling fan. The Terrace was tiny, with walls all around and no view at all. Bathroom was spacious and new and personal service was fabulous, but the bedroom was a small standard room, not my idea of 'luxury '.

We recently stayed one night at Old Fisher House as a getaway from Cape Town. Peter and Jean Pierre went above and beyond in every way to make our stay special and memorable! The food was EXCELLENT, the rooms are spacious, clean and thoughtful, each and every person who works there is kind and friendly. Peter shared with us some beautiful gems of the area, taking care to make sure we saw it all! But of course we couldn't in one day...so we will be back. Many, many thanks Peter and Jean Pierre. We so appreciate your generosity and care.

Comfy rather than luxurious, but Langebaan is a simple seaside place and this is probably one of the best in the area. Excellent location, no sea view but only yards from the beach, and 5 minutes walk to restaurants and bars. Very clean, comfy room (bathroom excellent), twin beds not double, but good night's sleep. Small terrace outside room, but for security reasons (even though Langebaan is safe by SA standards) we did not feel leaving the french doors open at night, and room got a little stuffy on a warm summer's night. Helpful and welcoming owner, good breakfast. Wifi not working in our room but was in other area of the house.

This is perhaps the only place I Sam rated in that had 5 stars from all reviews and I got it as soon as I entered the place . The highlight being Pieter and Jean whose personal touch is unmatched in any of the places I have been . The accommodation was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great and if you are visiting langebaan the place to stay. A return visit beckons

The rooms have a minimalist lay out with the furnishings allowing maximum space, and the decor very in line with a modern feel.

The guesthouse in located in surrounding nature which includes: Lagoon and Nature Reserve which allows for ample natural activities from kite surfing to hikes etc.

However the greatest breakfast available in Langebaan area is served here. and if only for the breakfast the value for money to stay here is certainly justified.

With the food and accommodation comes the further finesse brought to true home from home experiences. this is prevalent by the way the hosts Peter and Jean takes care of their guests. They seemed to have mastered the balance of being available as a treasure trove of local information and at the same time not be to intrusive upon the privacy of their guests.

it is small things like always being aware of a guest entering the gate of the house and being ready with a refreshing towel and some cold beverage to introducing the several parts of the sumptuous breakfast by its local origins.

For me this has become the guesthouse of choice whenever I visit the west coast and the one that I will without hesitation refer visitors to the west coast to.
