My family and I enjoyed our stay at Walking on Water guest house, and had a good experience. The choice of activities around the area are limited, but the beach can be nice, if not windy. Our rooms were fine, however we couldn't go out on the balcony, and the TV didn't work. Otherwise, a great time. The owners were extremely informative and were eager to make our stay as best as possible. Fortunately, it's a ten minute drive to Strande Looper, who serve delicious food. I would recommend WoW, as it is clean and welcoming!

We stopped in Darling for some tea and tried to book a room, but everything was booked due to a bicycle race and wedding so we drove to Langebaan. We found this place on line and booked. It's a beautiful house on the hill overlooking the bay. The view is beautiful. We had a lovely room with ocean view, queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. The owners recommended some restaurants for dinner and breakfast the next day was lovely and very filling. The room was clean and well appointed and wifi was good. The owner suggested several things for us to do the next day and we opted to drive through the West Coast National Park, which was well worth it. We recommend Walking on Water if you are in the Langebaan area.

I photographed a wedding in Langebaan and stayed over at Walking on Water. It was such a pleasure to park my car in a secure garage, fall into big, comfy bed and wake up to a delicious breakfast the next morning. Andre and Magdel are lovely hosts and make you feel extremely welcome.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in this very comfy, beautifully situated guest house. The breakfasts are delicious, varied and huge. The hosts are super friendly, helpful and caring. This is a very good place to see the flowers in the nearby national park.

Walking on Water is a cosy place with a welcoming atmosphere however most importantly its location is superb for families. We now also know everything about wildlife in Langebaan from the couples interest in the outside world. It is near the lagoon and five minutes drive from the famous Strande Lopper.

We picked Walking on Water randomly on the net and don't regret our choice one minute! The accomodation is perfectly clean, well maintained and the atmosphere very warm. Andre and Magdel are kind and very helpful and Madgel makes sure that we enjoy her delicious and varied breakfast in the morning and that we have enough to eat!! The information Andre gave us in the morning about the ecology of the area was most interesting as it's great to have knowledge and awareness of a place we come to enjoy and travel to. We really appreciated his time.
A safe, pleasant place with an extra touch to enjoy!

I had a most enjoyable stay at WOW. The hosts Andre and Magdel Kruger go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Their friendliness and knowledge of the area make this the ideal stay when exploring the Western Cape. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and very, very clean. Secure packing is in a locked up garage and the view from the balcony is amazing. The breakfast is definitely a winner! Thank you very much!

The accommodation at Walking on Water was excellent, on arrival we received a very friendly greeting from our hosts Andre and Magdel Kruger. Our car was parked off the road in the garage beneath the living accommodation which leads into the very comfortable and spacious Lounge from where there are stairs leading up to the three bedrooms.
Our en-suite bedroom was delightful, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with a very comfortable Queen size bed, lovely linen sheets, comfortable chairs, fridge and a balcony where you can sit and admire the spectacular view of the Lagoon. Breakfasts are superb and served in the Lounge area, the menu is changed each day and Breakfast is followed by an informative talk about the history of the Lagoon the surrounding area and the sights to visit.
The West Coast Nature Reserve is well worth a visit with its famous Lagoon, White sand, turquoise water and abundance of wildlife. We also visited the fossil museum which is a car ride away, but makes a fascinating and worthwhile visit - try to arrive when the Guide is available for a most informative tour.
Our three days at WOW came to and end far to soon, it was a most perfect stay, our Hosts so friendly and helpful. Thank you Andre and Magdel for making our time with you so memorable and enjoyable and hopefully we look forward to being with you again one day.

We stayed four nights at Walking on Water over Christmas 2013, and what a unique and outstanding experience. The B&B generally and our room in particular were spotless. The Blue Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, with crisp cotton linen, a lovely en-suite bathroom, and a beautiful view of both the fynbos and the lagoon. What set this establishment as a cut above the rest, however, were its gracious and friendly owners and hosts, Andre and Magdel Kruger. Drawing on his wealth of knowledge, Andre's morning briefings over breakfast about the West Coast generally and our specific plans for each day added incredible value to our holiday, whilst Magdel's superb breakfasts alone would attract us back for another visit to Langebaan.
