Only helpful and friendly person was assistant pro in pro shop. Breakfast freezing cold. Definitely a place only for residents on the estate.. only here for golf, and won’t return! Overbearing security when arrived, and unhelpful about our accommodation. Which was on the estate.
The accomodation was fair, but sub par for an RCI resort, but ok. The fact that you have to buy electricity once out is ridiculous, and the finishes so,so, but all in all had a magic time with the family. The golf was great but over priced for a none member. Proximity was good and so too the facilities at the resort. Attention can be paid to the units themselves, they need some TLC, especially in the kitchen. All things said we will come back now knowing some ins and outs, was a good experience for the family and luckily the weather contributed.
Would highly recommend for a family holiday. Lots to do for everyone! Beautiful environment. The facilities are in excellent condition and well managed. Friendly and helpful staff!!! Hope to go back soon!
Good day everyone, please never book with this property. I booked and paid for my accommodation on the 11th of November 2021 for staying on the 24th and 25th of December 2021 (yes, Christmas eve and Christmas day). They cancelled my booking on the 20th of December 2021 - just 4 days before we were supposed to check in. Flights/rental car etc all booked and paid for. Their reason was "we got a dubbele booking on the 24 and the 25 of December I’m so sorry but we can’t accommodate you can you please contact booking. Com we will also let them know we got a dubbel booking and it is not your fault" And that was that.........:(
For the active person there are loads of activities to take part in not only golf. Cycling, tennis, volleyball, basketball, netball you name it. Accommodation at the Lodges is first class with great views over the golf course.
Nice spot for a small family to break away and enjoy golf (mini golf), tennis, cycling, trips to the beach, a visit to the national park, sight seeing, etc. There are enough good restaurants to choose from and more than enough to do, especially if you enjoy water sports.
The location and rooms are fine and not far from the nice parts of Langebaan. But it's not special, no view, close to a busy road, and feels a bit like a place your company would book for a team away day. Probably good if you are travelling in a big party of colleagues. Club Mykonos down the road is more special for families and priced about the same.
We stayed here with our children and grandchildren and loved single minute of it. The guys enjoyed their golf and the moms and kiddies enjoyed roaming around on the estate. It is safe for the children, the view was amazing. The only problem is that the long weekend was over way too soon
Family and I booked 2 self catering fully equipped rooms at this facility. Enjoyed our stay. Good for a weekend away with family and/or friends. Even better if you are a golfer. One of the rooms were not completely clean with dirty floors and dust in places. Not really a major issue for us but felt disappointed. Staff - reception (Janine) and security (Nataniel) were very friendly. Very safe environment and reasonably quiet. Wifi is excellent. Our rooms were near the main road into Langebaan. With a covid curfew currently in place traffic noise were not major issue, but it might be under normal circumstances I suspect. Therefore, it might be best to request a room not to near the main road into Langebaan. Check-in maybe slightly late at 15:00. But generally a nice place to enjoy a break. Will surely return.…
My husband and I went to Langebaan Country Estate. The place is beautiful, the staff is friendly and very helpful. If you're looking for a tranquil stay away from the hustling and bustling, then this is the place to be.
