We stopped off for lunch after we discovered this 3* hotel in the small town of Coligny in the North West Province on our travels, just off the N12. From the outside the hotel looks unremarkable but inside it is clean and bright with a grey and red decor in the restaurant. They had a wide selection of food to choose from on their menu from steaks, burgers, pies, chicken, pizza, pasta, fish and seafood as well as a breakfast and a kiddies menu. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of the food good. The service was friendly and quick. I had a fish and calamari combo which was tasty and perfectly cooked. My partner had a delicious home made pepper steak pie for a ridiculously low price. The place was spotless. I made a note to call in there again and perhaps stay over at the hotel next time.

Customer service the worst. Run by white people not sure if that's how they are to everyone or we had the sour end of the stick cos we were young African people only. Silent hours is 12:00am meaning we were bombarded with loud music way after the normal silent hours of 10pm. We were told it was a favour to be booked in to the hotel during easter weekend when we complained about getting breakfast packs the night before instead of getting breakfast in the morning as is supposed to be. They were apparently going to "church" the next day but somehow managed to stay up till 12:00am running the bar. Definitely would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you're African. Save yourself the unnecessary torture. This place is run like a brothel not a hotel.

We booked in a hurry and was promised the world We were promised breakfast packed as we were leaving. The answer no problem as they needed the business. On arrival it took 15 minutes to find somebody and not all the amentities were in the bedroom. In the morning no breakfast packs as promised by the owner and the manager. The excuses we are so sorry the price is the same with or without How disguising to lie twice. I will never go they again and will not advise people as I am in the tourism business. The rooms and HOtel is beautiful but please do not promise tourist what you cannot deliever

A great place to spend if you are on business or visiting the area. The rest of the town is a dump but this little gem of a hotel. Well worth even going out of the way to stay there. Super friendly and efficient staff. Beautifully decorated and comfy.

On our way to a wedding in Kathu, our car broke down, our tow truck driver brought us to Hotel Coligny, to wait for our insurance to sort things out.
What a lovely surprise! The hotel is newly renovated and so neat and tidy and the staff very friendly.

We were looking for a place in the area to stop over. Friends recommended this gem. We arrived late but the after hours staff were on hand to assist us with check in. It does not look like anything from the outside, but the hotel was such a surprise once inside with very stylish and clean rooms. We can recommend this to anyone as a stop-over on the way to Upington/Kgalagadi/Namibia.
