What a surprise to find such a pleasant pub & accommodation for a night. For the price it was perfect, just the other guests had no respect for anyone else so made a huge racket very early the next morning but, you can hardly blame the Inn for that.
The lady at the bar was very friendly and the steak I had was very good.
I will definitely visit again when in that vicinity.

We booked into The Steam Inn as an emergency stop. We found the cottage clean and tidy. The owners and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Yes we would book in again! We got the speak to locals in the bar and enjoyed a night of music and laughter

The lady serving is really angry at the world for some reason. She was rude and insulting. Not just to us but other guests as well. It's almost like she resented us for bringing her business.
She got even ruder and annoyed when a group of black guests were trying to get service. I understand this is a small town but coming from a big city I can not watch this type of bigotry and racism.
Will never visit this place again.
