You'll know exactly what this means as soon as you step out of the car. The beautiful rolling hills give way to light winds and breezes that smell sweet, are dry but not dusty and don't carry the faintest hint of smog or pollution.
Some things to enjoy while visiting are most certainly the small hiking trails at the back of the property - while unfinished in part, by their late creator, they're incredibly clear and easy to follow, and we managed to make it back down a completely unfamiliar path with one phone torch, after watching the sunset a few minutes too long from the peak.
There's also a wonderful communal kitchen, a beautiful wedding garden, some of the sweetest, most supple and most delicious olives I've ever tasted (this visit quite literally introduced me to olives for the first time), and some adorable and friendly dogs and horses that wander around. Wi-Fi is available and fast, and the farm as a whole caters to sufferers of Electro-magnetic Sensitivity and Mutiple Chemical Sensitivity, to the T.
