Table Rock Jungle Lodge proved to be a fantastic base camp for a trip recently taken with our adult daughters to explore Mayan ruins in Belize and Guatemala. We rented the last two cabanas/lodges located on the river trail and found them to be beautiful, immaculate, and very private. We were there in late May/early June 2022 and found the cabanas (screened on two sides and with porches overlooking the river) very comfortable. It was warm and humid, and while the lodges do not have air conditioning, there were ceiling fans that cooled the buildings nicely. We had breakfast and dinner at the open-air dining area each day over our six-day stay. (Notably, there were no bugs.) On days we were departing quickly, staff packaged our breakfasts to go. The food was phenomenal--delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff (two wait staff and a bar tender) were talented, attentive, and enjoyable to interact with. The same was true regarding the office staff. While some might question the lack of outlets in the private lodges (there are USB ports), we encountered no issues charging camera/computer batteries in the provided space near the dining area. We rented a car at the airport and had no difficulty either driving around Belize or to and from Table Rock. Office staff were very helpful arranging for guides on the two days when we required guide services (visiting Tikal in Guatemala and a cave with Mayan history in Belize). Our experience at Table Rock was very positive in all ways.…
I can’t say enough good things about table rock! We had an absolutely lovely stay. The staff is so accommodating and kind. The amenities were out of this world, we could not get enough of the pool or the food!
We were greeted by friendly staff immediately upon arriving, showing us to our cabaña and helping with luggage. The rooms are exactly as shown in pictures and very comfortable, the property is beautiful, the staff is excellent and the food is amazing. We saw toucans, iguanas, arakaris and much more wildlife. The pool was a perfect place to cool off after exploring the surrounding areas. We would highly recommend this place for any adventurous family!
From the moment we arrived at Table Rock we were treated like family with amazing service from an awesome staff! Everything about our stay was excellent. I have traveled all around the world and this has been one of the best trips we have ever had. We are planning to go back next year. Thanks everyone at Table Rock for a great time-Mark and Kelly
What an incredible experience! The staff were some of the friendliest and the property is so beautiful and very well maintained. My husband and I are both vegan and Table Rock was more than accomodating, in fact they created a variety of delicious vegan meals every day just for us. If you do want vegan meals I recommend letting them know ahead of time. We booked our adventures (Cahal Pech, Xunantunich, Barton Creek Canoeing, Rio on Pools, Night Hike) all through Table Rock. Highly recommend them all. We also had the beautiful candlelight dinner which was truly a highlight of our stay. Excited to return in the future!
I would highly recommend Table Rock Jungle Lodge to anyone traveling to this part of Belize. They helped with travel arrangements during the entire stay, they got us a top notch guide for all day excursions and had the best staff helping with anything that came up. We were only there 4 days but they learned our names on day one and made our special anniversary trip even more special with all the hospitality and care they gave every guest. I look forward to visiting here again in the very near future.
We had such a great time at Table Rock. Stayed in the 'river view cabanas' which are very spacious and private and do have nice views. The restaurant was amazing with different dinner options each night, and great breakfast - I loved the breakfast burrito. The bar had tasty drinks including the best piña colada I've ever had, and a delicious welcoming signature drink when you arrive. We enjoyed some excursions that Table Rock arranged, including ATM cave and Tikal. But just as nice was time spent on the property itself - swimming and canoeing in the river, hiking the trails, visiting the animals, and relaxing at the pool. The grounds are just beautiful and you really feel immersed in the jungle. And to top it all off, the staff was amazing - especially Carla, Crystal, Lloyda, and Oscar. We stayed at a well reviewed resort in Caye Caulker for the second half of our trip, and the contrast was stark - at Table Rock the staff was so much more welcoming, friendly and attentive. It really makes an impact on the stay. I'd go back tomorrow if I could.…
Thank you Oscar, Crystal, Rodl, Lloyda, Miss Carla, Chef Sarah, Ariel, Frankie, Mrs Icele, and Gracie! This place is amazing- we are a family of five (3 teens) and can’t thank the staff enough for a wonderful time. The land is beautiful, very eco-friendly, the pool and canoeing on the Macal river were great activities on site. We ate the majority of our meals at the Lodge- every dish was delicious and healthy. The staff helped us figure out an itinerary that worked for our family- including negotiating local buses. And the jungle… is so lush and beautiful. You feel right on the middle of it staying at the Lodge. Thank you!!
We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Table Rock to celebrate a milestone birthday. We loved it from the moment we arrived. The river lodge is just as it is shown in the photos. The staff take the time to introduce them selves and learn your names. The grounds are serene and beautifully maintained. We even spent a whole day canoeing on the river and just hanging out around the pool. A great way to break away from the world a bit and get into vacation mode. The food in the restaurant is much more than they show on the website. Each day they have specials and every meal we had was fresh and delicious. Oscar and everyone in the restaurant & bar are kind, fun, and genuinely friendly. Karla and the other support staff are all so helpful in organizing excursions and sharing their experiences living in Belize. They even surprised me with a yummy cake and sang happy birthday to me at breakfast. We would go back tomorrow if we could. Happy to recommend Table Rock to anyone traveling to San Ignacio.…
