We loved being so close to the beach. The unspoiled views of the ocean makes you want to stay in. The accommodation seems to have been recently renovated. It has been done well. It was clean and neat, and we had everything that we needed. The unit we stayed in was suited for wheelchair access.

This was our 3rd time at the resort, and we were not disappointed. The rooms are well equipped, check-in is easy and the best restaurant in Plett (Enrico's) is within walking distance. It was my husband's birthday, and we were gifted a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate the occasion with. The stunning view is the main reason why we went back, and why we will be back again.

Our entire family have great affiliation with the sea, and this accomodation, being right above the beach and breaking waves, was just perfect. All night we were lulled by the waves crashing on the rocks, it really is a wonderful sound. The hut was clean, spacious and had all the mod-cons one could need, even a few Nespresso pods! Definitely the place for a longer stay. Oh yes, while we stayed in the Makou hut some others were even closer to the beach.

My husband is not the easiest to please. But this is first prize for him. The best self-catering accommodation on our 5000km road trip. Keep it up ArchRock! Hope to see you again soon. Hopefully though (just a tip to the resort), your bedding will be updated by then. The pillows in our room need replacement.

We keep coming back to Keurboomstrand, one of the most beautiful spots on the South African Coast. This time we stayed for a whole month in the Olivia suite, a ground floor apartment right on the beach. A few years ago we stayed on the first floor. All four apartments have a spectacular view, but for a longer stay we preferred downstairs as the sitting area gives you just some more space. We had the (extra) full service twice a week, which we recommend if you stay longer than a few days. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Just a very short walk on the beach and you find Enrico's, Plettenberg's most famous restaurant! Beautiful nature all around you, ideal for walking, or making trips by car.

We visited this place with our two years old. The cottage is really nice. It is located on a beautiful beach however I would not swim there because the water is a bit rough. There is no air conditioning therefore it is a bit hot at night but other than that it is a great and relaxing place to be. Only 10 minutes by car from the supermarket and maybe 3 minutes to a beach with lifeguard. There is no washing machine inside the cottage but you can ask the reception and they will arrange it for you. Overall it was a relaxing place to stay.

Very well equipped, spacious and stunning views. The fireplace added a wonderful warm touch for the few chilly evenings we had. The verandah overlooks the beach, which is just a few steps away. Enrico's Italian restaurant next door is fantastic. Just note: cleaning service costs extra

This resort used to be part of a larger property but it has been divided into 2 and the sections are run separately under spearate management. This was our first stay in this particular accommodation - the guest house . i was struck by how friendly and helpful the receptionists were - Ashley helped us with various odd requests. This friendliness was really great and is not always found. it was a very positive addition to our holiday

The views from the guest house are exceptional and I think it would be hard to find better value for money for such a location

We had one room with a small kitchen area and a bathroom and a Weber on the balcony for barbecues There is a good resturant (Italian) very nearby and others a drive away
This guest house overlooks not only the ocean but a pretty beach which seems to be little known as it is a bit hidden
The resort was quiet at night

This is our second stay in this area and the first at Arch Rock Resort. We were very pleased with the standard of accommodation in the chalet and the location is just brilliant, overlooking the beach.
The chalet had some complementary tea and coffee but apart from that you will need to take everything you will need during your stay. This is not a problem, just something to be aware of.
The style of chalet with living room upstairs and bedrooms downstairs means that full advantage is taken of the great views.
We are planning a return to South Africa in 2018 and hope the chalet will be available when we start booking as we would love to stay here again.
