Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort what can i say other than it's just awesome. Everyone from the staffs, to the services offered was top notch 100%. I had the best time everyone was respectful and welcoming. I felt at home there and the scenery is also very amazing. I highly recommend everyone to visit here. I will surely come back for a return visit

I've once been here when I was little . It was shabby then but now I'm glad that it now wears a better outlook. And the pool has been redesigned. Apparently not a good swimmer so I didn't bother to enter the water. lol. 😂 . There is that spot I love where the warmer spring meet the cooler one. It was a good experience coming here again.

We rented a bus and left Lagos with plans of staying over at the resort while visiting the spring. We got there and I was completely shocked. Yes I saw negative reviews but just didn’t think it would be overly bad (error on my part 🙆🏽‍♀️). Lo and behold, the resort was so terribly run down that we couldn’t stay over as planned. The rooms and it’s surroundings were dirty, dingy and mouldy. Bedsheets were not changed, bathrooms were poorly maintained, AC’s were not working and of course, no power. It was really disappointing. We couldn’t find any one room that ticked just a few boxes that we could manage. We very humbly went to enjoy the views and wonders of the warm spring and drove a couple more hours (out of Ekiti State) to get a decent place to stay. The place has potential and if well maintained, has what it takes to draw in massive funds through tourism.

Water from the rocks. One warm and one cold. It’s not just the water, there’s a certain serene feeling that comes once you get into the water. Infact it is surreal. The guide told us people come there to pray because they believe the water has some powers. I did say a prayer for Wisdom and Wealth. It’s easy to walk on the rocks in the water, as long as your footwear has a grip. You can’t get to the source, but you can see where it flows from. The place is poorly managed sadly. However on the one side is what used to be a zoo and there’s the pool too, outside the spring area. It’s water is straight from the spring. I had to charter a taxi from Ikare to take me there. Journey was about 90mins. But from Ado, the Ekiti State Capital, it’s about 60mins. I would love to visit again. Great location for a getaway for the entire family and they’ve got accommodation too, right across the road from the spring area. The place is safe.

What a shame, this place could be stunning but lack of maintenance means it is falling apart. There were only six people staying at the hotel (including us). We checked into our room - plain, old, mouldy and in various states of disrepair. No power (they only turn it on at night and it depends on how many guests they have), but that’s not too surprising. The area is stunningly beautiful. We walked through the jungle raised platform path, but we had to be extra careful as the place is falling apart. One of our group almost fell through the walkway into the stream below. The springs were a bit underwhelming, all the decking was broken and there was rubbish everywhere - there was even rubbish in and on top of the cage which housed a monkey. The springs feed the main pool, and it’s lovely and warm - although the pool is dirty and there are no loungers. Just a coupe of plastic chairs and tables around the bar area (beer is warm, despite being in fridges - they don’t work!). Saying that, when you are in the pool and look up, all you see is jungle. Such a unique experience- it’s just a shame it’s not maintained. Staff were lovely, really helpful and welcoming and did all they could. Finally, bring plenty of cash - no POS and this place is in the middle of no where. This resort is in the middle of the most beautiful country side. It’s only five years old and could be great, but it’s not. It looks old, tired and it’s falling apart. Who knows if it will be there in another five years.

We were coming from Erio and honestly the topography of this area is picturesque. We were anxious to get to Ikogosi. Ikogosi warm springs resort has a lot to offer. Imagine a twin pool in this place whose water is generated directly from the spring. There are lodges here that are spectacular. These suites are very comfy. There is a bar and restaurant. The experience of the these accomodations, warm water and cold water is a miracle in the forest.

Highly recommend for student of nature! Warm and cold water coming out from the same source and did not mix into each other till about three meters. This cannot be explained till you visit and experience personally.

My advice to all is to plan for a day journey, see the springs and return home. That's all there is to this place. The accommodation, reception, facilities are all horrible to say the least. No light, the air-conditioning in the room will not be switched on until a certain number of tourists book rooms, dirty sheets and oh, no free Wi-Fi. That's all lies. The receptionist is never on seat, so you can call forever to complain, no-one is answering. Mind you, this is August 2017. I intend shortening my stay to one night (paid to spend 2nights originally). Can't bear this torture, this choking feeling, this poor service for another day. Don't stay over, I beg you. Amos!

Went with a tour group (SocialPrefectTours) to see and feel the Warm spring in January 2017. The warm spring spot was just so incredible....amazing. The ambience of the environment was very peaceful and relaxing...beautiful. The Tour guides were also helpful. But the place is not properly maintained....some of the woods on the wooden bridge were old and eaten-up, so they couldn't hold us up and broke as we stepped through (little hoo-hah on our way). We stayed 1 nights at the resort. My room was a bit clean but not great clean..bathroom was not trust worthy. Electricity only comes on in the evenings from 7pm...on that day...8:30pm...(guess because they expect you to go exploring during the day, outside your room of course), AC didn't work too....The food....wasn't so nice. In all, we found a way to have fun, regardless. The nature of the place is whats beautiful.
