Nice room and well priced. Shocking service in restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Waited over an hour for food for dinner. Breakfast - had to ask for everything has kept running out - ie plates, cups, spoons, bread, juice, fruit…dirty tables everyone as just 1 girl running around doing everything. So badly managed ! Would not return based on this

Heating not working in room. Shower flooded the bathroom floor making it unsafe and dangerous when stepping out of shower. No information about check out times and no one said when or where the breakfast would be and as a result missed breakfast as only serve until 9.30 am in the week what a joke

We had 4 different rooms because they were dirty. Dirty marks and spills up the walls, hairs on the bed, plastic toys and lids under the bed, carpets not vacuumed properly, dust, dirty handles and a TV that looked like it had been cleaned with a dirty cloth - the smears and finger marks were that bad! In one of the rooms there was a strong mold smell and visual signs damp. We tried to eat at the hotel - it was included in the package. A 2hr wait for food made that impossible. When we initially sat at the table the couple next to us had waited an hour and one of their meals came and it was cold! The young lady on reception did everything she could to put the situation right. She should be praised for her calm, friendly, apologetic and professional approach but housekeeping should never have put her in that situation. If this is enhanced cleaning, goodness knows what happened pre-Covid! The service rating given doesn’t reflect her - she have got 5 star! We ended up not paying for our first night and cancelling our second.

nothing special. Small double room. Was supposed to be an upgrade but didnt feel like it. The Christmas decorations were nice. Only one hand towel and one larger towel between the two of us. No speaker in the room. No wardrobe as such. One of the wireless phone chargers did not work. The aircon was loud and freezing in the middle of the night.

Room too hot and sound insulation poor. Breakfast Ok, but food and service in the "restaurant" (sports bar) is terrible and represents very poor value for money. Others had taken the sensible option of getting a Deliveroo.
