Camped here so didn't use any of the rooms and cannot comment on that part. Shower / bathroom facilities very good and because they are situated up the hill, offer a very good view. Wine tasting a bit too expensive for me but friends who participated seemed to enjoy themselves. Unfortunately many drunks after the tasting carried on all night (even one fight and loss of wallet for one of them) which made it nearly impossible to sleep. It seems the wellbeing of the drunks is more important than the wellbeing of the people who want to sleep.

I visited here as part of an overland group. The rooms are a little small but very nicely decorated with old wine bottles and barrels. Nice big bathroom. Good lawn area outside the rooms, but the owner's dog is allowed to foul it, which spoils it! The evening meal for us was a set menu and was okay but not a prizewinner. However the wine tasting was great fun and well worth the extra cost! Good pool, but absolutely no pool furniture, which lets it down.

Such a wonderful place. Welcoming and comfortable. Our bags were immediately carried to our rooms. The wine-tasting was fun and delicious. The dinner followed by the dance party... so much fun. Would have loved to spend more time here, however our tour group needed to keep going.

We came here as part of a tour, using the campsite and taking part in a 'wine' (more on that later) tasting. We wanted to upgrade from a tent (already paid) to a room. 750 rand. This is really expensive for South Africa. Nice enough room, but no heating, and no towels and soap. "Not available for upgrades." We complained about this, and they did then provide towels and soap. The place is still under construction and when it is finished will look lovely, great setting. But the wine is appalling, and they really think they are great! Everyone suffered hangovers the next day, except me as I tasted two wines and said "No more." Food is average barbeque, nothing special at all. If it hadn't been so expensive, or the attitude had been more realistic, I would have liked the place
