It was a lovely place to come across late night on a spontaneous stay in Sirince. The Yard and landscaping was most alluring, especially since we visited late Fall. All staff speak English and are very polite, especially those in the dining area, which is decorated with taste, has a heartwarming fireplace to warm up by after drinks, and a lovely view of the mountains during the light of day. As for the rooms, they don't live up to the expectations the outside builds up. Our rooms were hardly prepared when we were checked in. This wasn't communicated and we ended up making calls for shampoo and slippers and other basic amenities we could remember were needed. We missed a couple. In the end, it wasn't satisfactory. Other than that, it's a lovely place to stay, really.
Our group of 4 couples stayed here for two nights on our way to Gallipoli and we all loved it! The staff were so very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delightful, served on the terrace. The rooms were spacious and very clean. A cute little town, and a beautiful B & B. Thank you all!
We stayed @ Gullu konaklari on the way to Cesme. We loved the rooms, terrace and hospitality so that we plan to go. Ack before end of this year. Village is very picturesque so you should walk by the small streets and discover the past with beautiful houses.
So glad I chose staying in Sirince over Selcuk. Sirince is very picturesque- winding stone streets, lovely hillside views, & probably just 20 minutes drive to Ephesus. Selcuk looked like just any town. Anyways, Gullu Konaklari really is special. It's located right at the edge of town, so everything is accessible from the inn. I arranged my tour of Ephesus through the inn. Breakfast was good and it's served where you have sweeping views over the hills. I stayed in a standard room in the gardens building which was in itself fairly ordinary. I would next time spend the money on a nicer room because they're just so beautiful. But the good thing was I didn't see anyone else on my floor which only had 3 rooms, so I had a separate living room & small kitchen to prepare tea all to…
The hotel was perfect for anyone wanting to stay in town. The room was wonderful. Besides a lovely rose garden, there are numerous other common areas to relax and read, have a glass of local wine or meet others.
