This a game farm with a wide range of wildlife (they no rhinos and elephants due to poachers).A mind blowing experience. Highly recommend the game drives. The owners are great and provide that personal attention to their guests. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a lovely pool. A huge spread of delicious food and they can meet your dietary requirements. You will enjoy a peaceful stay, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

A fantastic experience, Mark and Marj are warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and they make exceptional hospitality look easy and create a wonderful experience.
A beautiful reserve and a wonderful escape and an easy drive from Gauteng.
Highly recommend!

Very nice and quiet environment. The property is big enough to enjoy game drives, quad biking, walk with friend and family. The lodges are very nice, well equipped and clean. Eating in the boma in the evening is also a super experience with Mike and Marjorie who are giving the best of them to make their guests happy. They are really perfect. It was like a weekend with our family, but we were between friends with children, which make us come back with any doubt.

Mhara Game Lodge is a stunning place in SA, combining the bush experience under the guidance of Mike and Marjorie and a fantastic relaxing atmosphere.
Two camps are available, full or self catering. The braai (BBQ) in the boma is a must do. Mike and Marjorie are making tremendous efforts to make you feel like home with the African experience, and they are very successful in that.
Should it be about a game drive, playing volley ball in the big swimming pool, riding a quad or running among the antelopes, this is a place to be. It is worth also to mention Marjorie French origin and her inclination for amazing cuisine.
Just try it
