My best holiday ever due to all the things and treatments the reserve and the whole staff offers. The food is excellent and the sunsets with obligatory sundowners unforgettable. The site offers nice bushes. wetlands, river, rocky hills and even a dam (lake) with crocks and hippos. A MUST VISIT ZONE

We stayed at Deelkraal in September 2017, start of the spring, with pleasant temperatures around 20-22 C. It was my first time in South-Africa and I was really impressed by the beauty of the country. I was also impressed by the Deelkraal Wildlife Reserve. At Deelkraal everyone did the utmost to make us a perfect holiday. And it was. Our hosts, the staff, the views, the game drives, the lunches in special places, the drinks, the campfires, the dinners, the views, the lake, the weather, the activities, ......Too much to mention it all! Deel Kraal private game reserve offers a unique ‘customers tailored’ safari experience in a charming and family-friendly atmosphere. Game viewing possibilities are unparalleled. The local kitchen is excellent! Wildlife roams freely in a huge natural environment, cape buffalo, zebra, and hippo’s can be spotted when going on a gamedrive in the reserve. Other species occur in great numbers, among which are more than 200 burd species. As such, Deer Kraal offers the ultimate photographic safari one can think of. You will be escorted by a personal and highly trained guide that can tell you everything about the reserve and the animals. You can enjoy bush walking or personalized trips using different types off-road vehicles. Day visitors are not allowed in the reserve, your group (up to +/-10 attendees including children!!) will ‘own’ the place. This guarantees the park's exclusivity. From Deel Kraal it is only a small trip to Bela Bela and 'Adventures with Elephants'. Another spot of inspiration and joy with close up and personal encounters with the animals. You can be certain to return home with some absolutely stunning pictures and memories. Words are not enough to describe this unique, and hopefully not once in a lifetime, experience. Our African dream is born!

My first trip to South-Africa and it was an instant hit, thanks to the great hosts! We live in a constant connected world, but thanks to the guides of Deelkraal I personally got reconnected with the real world again.
Great local food, +6000ha of superb fauna & flora, good comfort of the rooms and a nice pool. I really loved it and can't wait to go again, this time with my family
