The decor is quirky, the garden very pretty with a relaxed atmosphere; the accommodation was comfortable and clean, with all necessary amenities. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our visit a happy, comfortable one. There is an interesting lounge/pub area which could be lots of fun if you were in a small group. Naboomspruit (Mookgapong) is a very small town, and the guesthouse exceeded my expectations!!

We were surprised at the detailed decor of this B&B- the owner really takes pride in his guest experience. The accommodation was very neat and service very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner was substantial but a bit expensive. The reasonable fee for accommodation made up for that.

Everything you may need for an overnight stay. I did not expect much (don't know why) but had to book a place to stay for one night. We were really surprised and I was truly excited about all the attention to detail. A lot of thought went into the finishing and decoration of the rooms. Although the room we stayed in did not have a bar fridge, there was a larger communal one strategically placed outside the rooms. We had a breakfast appointment in Bela-Bela the next day and could therefore not enjoy their breakfast at an addition R60 per person. Our room had a Coffee/Tea/Sugar tray with some powdered creamer. We usually buy our own fresh milk and water. Convenient stores are close by for those little left behind items.
Getting there is easy enough. Don't let the roadworks put you off from driving into town. Don't stop at the first shop you see. Drive a little further down the main road until you see a small shopping complex towards your left. OR alternatively the convenience store at the petrol station where it is a bit safer. Remember to always be safe. Lock your vehicles and don't leave any valuables visible in your vehicle.
At the guesthouse you will have free and secure parking available.

Peaceful afternoon with a amazing slice of peppermint cheesecake and special coffee.
Relaxing in the garden was so needed after a few busy hectic days.
Would definitely come back again for another treat. Menu very interesting and love the decor of the restaurant.

A cosy coffee shop / restaurant in the heart of Naboomspruit. This is a wonderfull place to go on a secial date or meet a friend for breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a delicious cappuccino and cake. You can sit at a beautiful table or a cosy corner in the garden. There is a play area for kids and the hosts is very friendly and helpful.

The rooms & ground staff are pleasant. Stayed for 3 weeks & enjoyed the big room. Unfortunately the owner isn't everyone's cup of tea. Had to leave abruptly as I didn't feel comfortable staying there.

We stayed two nights in Africas Eden, which is supposed to be one of the better places in Mookgophong. But, no. Sorry. The lady on arrival was not very very motivated to give us information and help.. We had a small room (namibia), the first on a way to the other rooms. The rooms was extremly dark and did not smell very very good. In the mornings one could hear everything what happend around us, phonical isolation is 0 ...
Very annoying is the parking situation. One must park its car behind another car which means in the morning someone is crying for you to move your car out of the yard.
The decoration of that guesthouse is a brik-and-brok of everything they could find.. its funny in a way but not my style. Further on a lot of the furniture in our room was not usable anymore...
there are other guesthouses with better standards in Mookgophong
