Klein Papkuil Farm lies in the untamed heart of diamond digging country, 55 miles from the historical town of Kimberly. The Northern Cape’s shear size, clear skies, flamboyant sunsets and brilliant starry nights, and incredible silence is powerfully intoxicating. It is here, where beauty and adventure go hand in hand.
I visit Geers first time in 2019 together with Danish hunter-friends - our stay was perfect with splendid hunting and perfect stay at Geers Safari Lodge. We wanted to come back earlier, but due to Covid-19 it was delayed 4 times. 28/2 2022 we finally made it and enjoyed 6 days hunting - even better than the first time - I think. The Geers team really gives a top service - the food is perfect in good atmosphere - I highly recommend the place, and I will be back with my grand sons. Michael Ring

Beautiful property that is well kept with all modern amenities. The professional hunters, Ronald and Atom are both a pleasure to work with and provided outstanding guide services. The game that we hunted was carefully selected for maturity and trophy qualities. Chef Lee Stock provided healthy and delicious meals daily. The owners, Julius and Madelen treat you like family. I highly recommend for you next hunting trip.

I had a lovely "house" all by my self, with the best bed I have ever slept in. The Chef made extraordinary good food and all of the staf was very proff. During the week we hunted in the Old Facion way by foot - just as it should be done.

Julius & Madelene Gers are Professionals with a capitol P. A guest with them is much more than just a guest. The Gers Team treats guests like long time friends, and family. A famous American once said; "Before they care how much you know, they need to know how much you care." Team Gers cares, in every way, and it shows. I have been blessed and privileged to make three trips to Klein Papkuil for vacation and hunting with Gers Safaris. I completed #3 in April this year. I could have gone else where. I chose not to because Julius, Madelene and the rest of Team Gers are not else where. Ron and Lee Stock were new to Gers when I arrived this year. Ron is both Gers' Property Manager, and lead Professional Hunter. Lee is Culinary Manager and Gourmet Supervisor. They are just what the Gers organization needed. Both have valuable experience, with an excellent grasp of the business, and an eye for what positive things can be done to improve Gers Safaris. And, have a desire to get them done the right way. I can not wait to book my 4th magical trip to Gers Safaris. May I suggest when you are booking a safari to South Africa, you do it with Gers Safaris.…

We enjoyed our first trip to South Africa in April. We arrived with excitement and full of anticipation for our adventure. From the moment we were picked up from the airport and still to this day we are treated like family. They arraigned for every possible need from possible food allergies to comforts for our room. Julius and Mads greeted us every day sharing our excitement for that day's adventure. They truly enjoy hosting and meeting new people. Ronald, the head PH and manager, openly shared his knowledge and passion for the animals and life itself. We would have great conversation and lots of laughs, but serious when it was needed. Lee, our amazing chef. We absolutely love her! She kept us well fed and loved hearing our stories of the day's adventures. She did an outstanding job and amazed us with every meal. Adam, our tracker, would greet us every morning and afternoon with a great smile and a handshake. He took great care to make sure we had a smooth ride and no branches would hit his passengers. When the ladies stayed behind while I was stalking game. He always parked them in the shade and made sure they were comfortable. The skinners took prompt and great care of my trophies and greeted us with smiles. The rest of the staff kept us with clean cloths and clean rooms. Really making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We are looking forward to our next visit and plan to bring our kids with us. -Andy and Natalie Mitchell…

The Gers crew did an awesome job. Accommodations were spectacular. Klien papkuil has some if the best views. Rhinos feeding and watering at the lodge as the sun sets is something ill never forget. Mrs Lee’s cooking was out if this world. Truly a 5 star experience. If TA had a rating of 10 stars I would give it to them

My stay with Gers Safari was a once in a lifetime trip. Everything from the food, accommodations, the professionalism of the staff and most of all the good people who own, operate and live at this facility.

A fantastic hunting destination in the beautiful Northern Cape. We were a group of friends and family that visited. We hunted numerous animals, all of excellent quality. The lodge is 5-star, the food 10-star and the hospitality 10-star. Julius and team are dedicated to conservation through sustainable hunting. A top TEAM!

My wife and I were treated to the trip of a life time with Gers Safaris. The owners, Julius and Madelene could not have been more accommodating. Every day was an adventure with our super PH Frans Grobbelaar . The abundance, quality and different species of game was shocking . The accommodations were first class and the meals ( especially the deserts) prepared by Michelle the chef were outstanding. The passion that Jules and Madelene have for their property and operation is truley inspiring . I look forward to our return some day, hopefully soon!

I was truly blessed to have connected with Jules and Madelene at Gers Safaris through a mutual friend. It was my fourth trip overall to Africa, and second to South Africa. While my wife was able to join me for her second time, we enjoyed the whole experience offered by the Ger's family. The accommodations and grounds/settings were spectacular (5-star), and the food as prepared by Michelle, was off the charts. You must definitely save room for her desserts!! My PH, Frans Grobbelaar was a spot and track/stalk genius!! I can't imagine a seven day hunt being better than what he and I experienced. Not once did I disagree with any of his decisions!! Also, the quality of species taken was off the charts!! Much better than I had hoped for... And Jules even joined in on the fun to add his expertise and close the deal on a quest for a truly giant Lechwe. Excellent hands-on experience and game management by Jules is the key to success at Ger's safaris. Continued expansion of his already huge hunting area will surly bode well for the future. I could not possibly have left there without starting a wish-list of species to hunt when I return. My high expectations for this hunting experience were greatly exceeded to say the least. Many thanks to Jules and Frans for an amazing hunt, and to Madelene and their lovely daughters, for taking care of my wife, and including her like family. Kim and Darlene / Louisiana I can be reached through Ger's safaris (Jules), for further information via e-mail or cell phone.…
