This is an amazing place to stay at. The hosts are very friendly and very welcoming. There are a lot of activities to do or just hiking and admiring the area. The restrooms are really nice and are cleaned frequently. I would really recommend this place!! They have various options; from camping, safari tents to cabins. They really go out of their way to help you.
See you guys again soon!

To Ian, Sue, Maureen, Leon, Antoinette, and all the staff. Huge thanks to you all for making our 2 week stay the most amazing experience. We loved every moment and could not believe how caring and friendly every member of staff was. Tea and scones were delicious, park and ablutions spotlessly clean, walks and views absolutely gorgeous, and of course the pool, wonderful playground, animals and horse rides made the grandchildren's stay with us a very memorable one for all. Congrats on having one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in - and I have done a few! See you all again soon.

Well done to the mountain splendour team for maintaining an absolutaly amazing gem of a resort. Amazing camp sites with awesome views and best ablution facilities we have ever experienced. We camped at the luxury private ablution site with our 6 month old baby and it was such a joy being there. The facilties are so clean and well maintained, great playground, great swimming pool and very helpfull and friendly staff. We also went to see the shared ablution and was amazed by the standard of these facilities and the fact that there are 2 family bathrooms available (especially with a 6month and 5 year old) blew our mind.
I went for a 10km MTB trail ride and the trails are so well maintained!
The kids love the farm animals, the kidies bike track and the wide open spaces!!!

We will definately be back there sooner than later!

We had the pleasure of staying in one of the brand new additions to Mountain Slendour's array of accommodation types. This is taking glamping (look on their website for a definition) to the next level. Essentially a tent but more like a lodge. Beautiful cozy bedrooms with comfy beds, a spacious bathroom with a shower the whole family could fit in, lounge with fireplace as well as a veranda with built in braai and storm blinds to enclose if the weather is bad. Beautifully decorated and furnished with attention to detail beyond expectation. Spectacular mountain views from the veranda and close to kids play area. The PERFECT family getaway. Can't wait to get back there. Thanks Ian and Sue, the most gracious hosts.

My dad and I are so chuffed with our experience at Mountain Splendor! The berg view spots are a front row seat to some spectacular views and a stunning sunset every night. We brought our caravan and the spots provided were level and filled with gravel. You will be welcomed by the campsite chickens, followed by seven piggies and then the campsite pups in the evening. Location is great for hiking trails - monks cowl being a good one. Good shops within a stone's throw. Those running the campsite are helpful and friendly. if you don't have a caravan or tent, their glamping options looked fantastic!
So glad we stayed here. Will be back!

This resort is perfect for a family getaway. It has an entertainment area, pool, park, tennis courts, giant chess, volleyball ball and bicycle track. There are many accommodation options to choose from including caravanning, camping, glamping and log cabins. We stayed in a log cabin with amazing mountain views. The cabin was fully equipped (excluding towels) with an inside fire place and outside braai. We had such a nice stay and will definitely be back. The kids loved it.

We have stayed at this resort before. We were rained out, and our tents flooded, which should have been a sign to not go back, but it is a cheap place close to nice hikes so we thought we will try our luck again. We emailed and booked way in advance, and booked for 3 other familes too. They messed up the booking so badly, then called and were extremely rude, and then proceeded to mention they are so busy, basically to hell with us, and they happily cancelled the booking, two weeks before the long weekend. I have never ever in my quite mature life been treated so badly by a resort, utterly disgusted! Crap resort, crap service!
