My Family and i really enjoyed our stay at InKosana Berg Lodge. We received a lovely warm welcome...the staff was friendly. We decided to book our stay in the Rondavels and we throughly enjoyed this stay. The rooms were cosy and clean. You also have an ensuite in the Rondavels. it was spacious and clean. No insects or mosquitos but lovely fresh and clean linen on those heavenly king size beds. We were kept warm with the electric blankets and an additional heater in the room. the food was very well prepared! You are getting more than what you actually pay for. Its very safe...as our kids were free to play throughout the open yard spaces. one of the best feautures of our stay...was when our family would gather in the lounge area and enjoy that cosy warm fire that would be burning in the mornings and evenings. It warmed up the entire lounge area! We loved that! We cant wait for our next trip.

Comfortable Accommodation in a stunning location. Was perfect for an overnight stay in the Berg. Things we would comment on - no bath amenities provided, only handsoap. Hot water wasn't working however when reported to maintenance it was fixed. We were very surprised that no tea/coffee was included in the breakfast cost and came at an extra charge. Otherwise was a lovely getaway.

Firstly the blankets smelt like feet as if they were not changed. There were cockroaches under sliding door. The hot water supply is useless we had cold showers in winter. No place to sit out and have a fire. Need to include entertainment at premises. Won't be telling any family or friends to visit anytime soon until things improve drastically. Family rooms need to be bigger. Dog poo was all over the place. Someone even walked in some and brought it near the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the dogs were very friendly.

We have gone to the room you slept in and could fined nothing wrong with blankets,we also warned you before checking in that we have no entertainment for children and we do not allow bon fires which is very dangerous in our dry season ,the slyding door is for the outside area and we do not keep watch to see if bugs are near it we also have no cochroaches at the lodge and I live here for 5 years now ,we have a massive yard and you will see dog pool but it gets picked up daily near any common area ,the cold water was due to a switch that tripped due to loadshedding and you had hot water within 20 minutes you also refused to eat in the dining area and we even assisted by doing room service ,you also never left the room the day you were here and never came to complain ,I suggest never booking here again and rather book a hotel

The owners are passionate about our well-being. Very aware we are visitors and may not be familiar the terrain. They also not out to squeeze guests out of money. Very fair and humane. Example: our money was returned for facility we couldn't use.

When one drives from Winterton through to the Central Drakensberg the landscape starts to change, then suddenly the Majestic Drakensberg landscape and mountains opens up before your eyes and you enter a place where your soul truly rests. Inkosana Lodge, nestled within the Majestic Drakensberg, is a true gem hidden within the bushy plains of the Berg and offers guests a true bush and mountain experience. From the accommodation to the food offered at the lodge is top class. The hostess and owner, Karen, is friendly and professional. The 4 legged friends on the property also add a homely feel. If you want to sleep well, have total silence and see a beautiful starry sky, this is the place for you. The pool deck is a lovely place to unwind after a day of adventure and the braai areas are clean and offer a unparalleled view of the Berg in all its splendour. Highly recommended!!!!
