We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and what a pleasant experience. We were there from 20-23 December 2019.

What a surprise when our room was made up romantic turndown. The room was clean and linen quite new.

Our room had a breathtaking view with a little patio for 2.

Breakfast was the highlight of the day. The lady working at breakfast absolutely outstanding and she is vigilant the whole time checking that food items are full and refilled.

It was like a small buffet
filled up all the time, never did we feel we were late and not gonna get food. It was as if the buffet just opened everything stocked up.

Tables were cleared regularly and set again. The buffet always had a different dish in the morning which made it exciting to go and eat!

Food was tasty and fresh! Staff are so friendly and do make your stay worth it.

Hate to give a bad review, but was not impressed with our stay. The room was tiny, no bar fridge, had "Tea and coffee facilities" with no teaspoon or milk. The curtains were hanging off the hooks in a few places, ceiling not clean. The bed was comfy though. We also found it very noisy - had a group of guys there and they played loud music and were talking very loudly so couldn't sleep until they ended their fun. The next night they weren't there but again people staying around us, no respect, talking and shouting loudly. (this is obv not facilties fault, but I would suggest they get a guard to walk around making sure people adhere to the RULES that are plastered everywhere. The shower was terrible too, only a tiny trickle of water coming out so was difficult to wash hair without any pressure. Woke up Sunday morning to NO water and 5 mins later NO electricity so had to wait for it to come back on before checking out. Again, only a tiny trickle of water. The restaurant was enjoyable, friendly waiters and food was good. But overall - was a meh experience. Would i go back? Probably not unfortunately.

Generally the hotel is situated well and ideal for trainings. For regional and International visitors there was no much information on where to get Covid tests done within the area. At least covid testing centres should be indicated at reception. Management was not available from the friday we arrived until departure on monday morning as the receptionist kept saying they were unaalable and network on site was a challenge if whatapp, WiFi could be improved on site. We later found out on our booking that Sundays you close but your staff should also communicate during breakfast on Sunday that your close Sunday afternoon.

This place is close to most of the attractions in Harties. The rooms have all the basic things you need, the budget rooms are a bit small but really i cannot complain about anything. The breakfast was also basic, you get your cold and your hot breakfast with all the beverages. Will i stay here again? absolutely and the staff are very friendly,i have to compliment the housekeepers, our room was beyond clean and they serviced it the next day literally packing our staff neatly. Big thank you guys.

The hotel is set in a very scenic location close to the Hartebeespoort dam and the famous cableway. The rooms are basic and small, without a refrigerator in punishing heat. The hotel was inundated with signs prohibiting various activities and loud music, which is perhaps understandable. The communal breakfast service and setup was pleasant, but service was nonexistent from late afternoon. On our second night there my partner accidentally smashed a bottle on the room floor, with flying glass cutting her legs. On physically going to the night manager to request help to at least clean up the glass in the room, he was immediately confrontational, even contradicting me when I told him my partner was bleeding, which I found infuriating. His attitude was typical of a lackadaisical approach to service generally at the hotel. Perhaps book elsewhere.

I had booked 2 budget rooms according picture advertised on bookings.com
Pictures were very very very deceiving. The bathrooms were absolutely HORRENDOUS, I would feel much more comfortable if I had to us a hospital bathroom. I would NEVER EVER book or recommend this property to anyone. We checked in, had a look at the rooms and immediately went back to reception to see if they could help us in some way by changing our rooms or giving us a refund. However they could not help us in anyway so we immediately checked out, never even spent the night at this property.

Despite its good location, this place is overpriced for the quality of rooms and service provided. Room like a backpackers room and not worth the price. Staff were very unfriendly. They walk in the rooms, do not greet and start cleaning without a word whilst guests are there. A mere request for a portion of eggs for a 4 year old was flatly refused just as they were clearing breakfast. We will not come back

The rooms did not look like the website pictures, they were small dark and claustrophobic. The water smelled awful and we were not able to shower.

For a venue that does not allow self catering the food was terrible. The website shows photos of gourmet meals and lovely crystal glasses on linen table cloths. In reality you will find plastic table cloths and a food menu of only 5 items - all frozen pizzas that the kitchen attempted to spruce up by putting HP sauce and flowers on top. The restaurant and bar area were closed by 8:30pm, no wonder most residents chose to party in the pool areas and in their rooms - the party went on until the early hours of the morning - not a great experience for a family with kids.

We left early and went home to get some sleep and a decent meal.

I am not enjoying my stay at your hotel. The sheets have see better days, decor outdated and the water smells of sewage! No two pin plugs, the breakfast is precooked without choice, even the muesli yoghurt and fruit salad prepacked!

I recommend having microwaves in the rooms, and new shower doors and shower heads installed. Other than that everything else was good, and we really enjoyed the view of the sunrise in the morning from our balcony. The location is also central to everywhere we planned on going which made our trip easy.
