we went camping there this weekend to celebrate my Birthday there! arrived the day of the 20th of October everything was whole okey all unpacked and went swimming for my sister them to arrive! The day was quite nice! we all went to sleep about 9 o'clock! here at about 10 before 12 I woke up to our tent beening shaken! the next moment I heard our tent being torn open! I then started screamed and grab my kids! I started screaming I just hear they said to me hey hey hey! but as they cut open the tent with the knife they blinded me with a torge! so I struggled to see trying to just grab my kids! I keep yelling my fiancée woke up and grabbed his gun! He jumped up to what was going! as they were just standing and staring to see what my fiance is doing onces they saw his firearm they took off! no security guards! we asked for security guards to come and stand by us while we were packing no one came! once they left the hartepeespoort resort they went to the resort next to ours! …

1.Staff not welcoming 2.No identification of uniform(hygiene standard) 3.Reception ladies (Thembi and the other manager so she was called don't look professional to me) 4.The rooms are very dirty, we honestly wanted to check out but my drive was very long 5.Maintenance service very poor, the heater was broken and the stove kept on tripping 6. Requested Iron around 08h25 it only came at 10h00 7.The swimming pools are very dirty, the outside black bins are so very dirty as well 8.The one plier toilet roll its a NO NO NO 9.The owner needs to look in selling the place to people who will love the place 10. Cars comes in an out without being searched and no sign of any security for their guest safety 11.The cleaners spotted with no gloves on never the less our chalets were never sanitized 12.Drain smell as well needs attention. I will never go back to this place or recommend it to anyone.…

There are absolutely no control at the resort, people are having party's and load music till the early hrs of the mornings and nothing is dine to keep people to the rules. People are camping on stands that was booked and you need to set up camp in the sun as nothing is done to control the booked stands. I will not recommend any one to go to the resort as you are in for a very rough time. No sanitizer is provided at the bathrooms as required, This is defiantly no value for money and absolutely no control of the resort. If you want problems on your Holiday ...this is the place to go....

I would not recommend anyone going to this resort for several reasons: 1. The luxury chalets have no ceiling fans nor aircon. The fan provided was a joke. It was filthy and wasnt even serving the putpose it was made for. I wonder what happen to the ventilations in the chalet The flies and mosquitos are for free and the cherry on top.. We booked for 4 adults and one child, there was no extra utensils. 2. The guest have no respect for rules. They play loud music when it is clearly stated no noise nor music. The people at the pool drink inside the pools itself and they speak as if they are far from each other. They have no respect or common courtesy for other users what so ever. 3. The jacuzzi is situated in a building with minimal ventilation. What a waste. There are no guards on duty. What a waste of money... this resort should be investigated and re evaluated.…

If you want to camp in sand and dead grass then this is the place. I understand there is a drought but none of your pictures reflect the current state of things. Also did not feel very safe camping there, don't think they take safety and security as seriously. Honestly there is just to many nice places to chose from for one to return.

Place is in very sad state. Clearly the owner is eating away any money made refusing to re-invest a cent. Green pool that stinks like urine, dirty bathrooms and poor service. No wonder the only photos loaded are for a biker rally. Perhaps my version of "roughing it" and your differ but money cannot be charged for this.

We spent 6 days there. Rooms are great, loved the shower. Clean, had everything we needed, kiosk is well priced and well stocked. I would add another ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom.Overall it was good. Would recommend it.

Hi there, I made a booking with hotels. Com this morning, just wanted to confirm my booking and ask a few questions about the resort before we go there. It is so disappointing that I have been given the run around the whole day where no one could help me, instead they keep on telling me to call back in 20 min, the staff there actually even dropped the call on me twice, because I asked about the resort and they did not know if there were brasi facilities at the log cabins, this makes me want to really cancel my booking there, I've even been told that they were going to call me back on 0123706080, my name is cassim, very disappointed customer as to how I've been treated

Very loud noise, staff not interested in controlling loud crowds/music. That in spite of their website emphasising no loud music/noise allowed. And signs all over the camp site asking PLEASE NO LOUD MUSIC/NOISE. Such false advertising. Shameful.
