So I needed a place to stay for my niece's wedding.. The lady attending to our call was very nice & friendly BUT.. The place is dirty, full of dust & there was what looked like mouse-poop on the bed linen.. The tea & coffee supplied was stale.
I will never go back there again.. My sister booked a place up the street for a R100 cheeper & it looked fabulous compared to what we paid.

I booked this accommodation 3 months before I was due to stay there. The day before I was due to travel, I found out that the owner had cancelled my booking without telling me and without rationale. I suspect a longer or more lucrative booking came in so she dumped me as I was only a 1 night booking. I was thus left without accommodation for my good friend's wedding. The owner, Marina, is clearly not trustworthy so I recommend avoiding Reeds at all costs. I understand from other guests at the wedding that there are some real accommodation gems right next to Reeds and they would strongly recommend them - in particular Millstream Inn.

We needed overnight accommodation for a function we had to attend. We paid R990 for 1 night for a room that should not even be R100 a night! The room was run down and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 10 years. The photos will speak for itself! Dirty curtains and disgusting blankets stuffed in the bathroom that looks like it was taken out of the trash! Eeeekkkk! This accommodation should NOT be promoted or recommended on ANY online booking engine!

Loud music from the workers compound and then to top it all our chalet door was ripped open by some random drunkard at one in the morning. Not as much as an apologie from the lady in charge. The main house is right next to the workers compound,no privacy

wen we arrive the manager was way too drunk.our unit was way too dirty but she claimed to have checked it in the morning but it seems like it has not been cleaned for months, when we called to tell her we request our unit to be cleaned she lied and said the cleaners are not around and hanged up on me until we took pics for her as proof of what we were talking of,then she sent cleaners but then we even decided to leave the lodge. was so disappointed.

Worst place, there was spiderweb everywhere in the room, worse I. The shower then at night in our room a bat 🦇 flew in and out the whole four hours. The cleaner never came to clean or tidy our room the following day.
