Lovely little hotel just outside Argostoli. Super friendly owners and spotlessly clean everywhere. Excellent value for money and great breakfast. Decent sized room and pleasant little balcony overlooking a pretty little bay. Nice restaurant and beach nearby and an easy walk into Argostoli for more choices of food and drink (6 euros back in a taxi). Can’t really fault this hotel, especially as the cost was so reasonable.

Room was a typical spacious room. The hotel was hit by massive hurricane. Under the most trying of circumstances, Petros and Maria and family worked really hard. Top marks. The hotel is only a few minutes from 2 tavernas and a small beach, easy swimming. Also only a short 30 minute walk to Argostoli for shopping and more restaurants. I didn't use the pool as the sea was so close. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay even with the difficulties they had to face. I look forward to going back as soon as I can.

I stayed with a friend for a week and was there during the Medicane, basically a hurricane. Despite having no electricity for 6 days of the 7 we were there due to the storm, the holiday was amazing. The owners Pedro and Maria, Mummy Helen and Helen could not have been more accommodating, caring and hospitable. They are truly amazing people and that is why the hotel is one I would highly recommend. I mustn't also forget Bella the dog and her adorable puppies. The breakfast is very good with a good variety and social distancing and virus precautions are very well respected. The hotel is clean, rooms are good, we had a sea view which was a bonus and the beds were also comfy. The pool area is lovely with beds and a variety of seating options and it is very clean. People are what make a holiday in my opinion and you could not top the warmth and genuine hospitality of this hotel and their staff, we were also fortunate to meet some amazing guests that are now our friends. I will definitely return, I survived a hurricane here in safe hands so it feels very special. Thank you to everyone at the Galaxy for the most amazing holiday. See you soon xx

Stayed at this great hotel 21/8 - 31/8 ,from the moment we got there the welcoming from the hosts Maria and Petros was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them, very hard working and always having time for you !! Breakfast is buffet style, served to you because of the covid restrictions we are living with at the moment, it was excellent value. The pool area spotlessly clean with ample sun loungers and seating area, wonderful place to relax . One or two small coves opposite the hotel for a lovely swim . As they do not offer a pool snack bar they are more than happy to order take away for you which is delivered really quickly by scooter delivery service. Excellent value for money if you want a lunch time snack or an evening meal but don't fancy going out. There is a small range of drinks available to buy from pool bar. Fine if you want soft drinks, beer or a glass of wine. Other drinks are available, you just need to ask. You can walk into Argostoli in around 40 mins, passing at least 4 places to eat and drink on the way 👍Argostoli is well worth a few nights out , some great restaurants and bars, lovely shopping streets and the central square, a brilliant place to sit with a mythos and people watch !! 7euro for a taxi back to the Galaxy as the walk back in the dark wouldn't be safe on the unlit roads . The hotel is a wonderful place to stay and relax, ran by lovely people, I really hope they can survive these testing times 🤞🏼🙏🏻The hotel dog Bella and her pups were a joy to watch, also ,she was a character. Would 100% recommend this little gem of a hotel . We will be back !!!
