This is a review of the cafe located on the pavement adjoined to the hotel. One word DRY. No sign of the usual condiments such as olive oil etc. So the basket of, Very nice bread, the best part of the entire meal, could not be fully enjoyed. I ordered the "special" omelette for 7 Euros. What was presented was an overcooked and frankly tiny, flat object barely resembling an omelette! They maintain that all ingredients are "fresh" tinned mushrooms does NOT fall into that category! My friend ordered the "Daily" of roast chicken, what was served could have been used to resole ANY pair of shoes one wished to repair... My other friends ordered the rolls. One being sausage, NOT frankfurter which is what was presented, and the other a tuna one. NEITHER had any butter, which, once again WOULD have been ok IF condiments had been on the table. Even mayonaise would have been better than dryness! All in all.....DISGUSTING! Save your cash for the many other authentic Greek tavernas along the waterfront…
Excellent hotel, in the center of Argostoli, clean, tidy, warm (my visit was winter), comfortable beds, perfect WiFi, rich breakfast and the staff more than helpful and friendly. I have to note that the pandemic safety protocol is being totally followed. Take a look at Mrs. Konstantina's paintings when you will be there, a real jewelry in terms of decoration.
We stopped into the hotel RESTAURANT, located on the pavement, OUTSIDE, facing the water We ordered a Greek pizza and bread with tomatoes and feta, drizzled in olive oil First, the bread was hard. There was NO visible olive oil. There was one slice of tomatoes and a small crumble of feta. A bit like bruschetta without the bruschetta!!! The pizza was good, however, there was so much crust that was like raw dough! I ordered an ice cream sorbet on strawberry flavour. It was sickly sweet, without ANY tang that is reminiscent of sorbet. Mellow, was the brand.... Yuk! The waitress was sweet and attentive
The Tourist Hotel is spotless, the rooms are cleaned, beds are made and lovely large towels are put in the room daily, including toilet rolls and toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with a huge range of breads, cheeses, cold meats, fruit, jams honey, eggs and rice pudding. biscuits and nuts. The Hotel serves lovely lunches, cocktails drinks, coffees/teas. We stayed for a week and loved every minute, Staff are welcoming and friendly, The owner Consdantina gave us a beautiful gift when we left.We thoroughly recommend this Hotel.
Enjoyed our one-night stay here. Hotel was close to the ferry terminal and main shopping street with lovely views. Parking was tricky (you need to find a public parking space on the Main Street). The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated and the full traditional Greek breakfast was delicious.
