Stayed for one night while walking the Camino Norte , and the place was really cute, small, with modern furnishes including a rain shower, a comfortable bed etc. Wi-Fi was good, and it’s in in the middle of the old town with plenty of shops and bars nearby. Didn’t have the breakfast though as I headed out early. Great value for around €40!

Ardigales 11 was ok it was clean and nicely set up but not very practical. The room was ok but lacked coat hangers and drawers. It was a boutique style hotel. As an older traveller it didn't really please me but I couldn't find fault with it. All the hotel rooms we stayed in lacked a kettle and tea and coffee as we have in England but it's not a big problem. We stayed for a couple of days here and castro Urdiales is amazing and would come here again.

A lovely lady runs this small hotel and took my suitcase to my room and said it would be brought down in the morning, which it was. They don’t have a restaurant but if walking the Pilgrimage and on HB, they send you to a very good restaurant. The room & bathroom were correct as was the breakfast and I would definitely stay again. It is located in the historic centre of Castro Urdiales with a picturesque harbour full of excellent restaurants and bars.

When you arrive at Ardrigale 11 (which by the way is the address as well as the name), you at first wonder, am I in the right place? It is a former industrial space that has been imaginatively converted into lodging. The staff was very helpful, and the creative use of space carried over into the rooms. We were very comfortable here. My only suggestion would be that for breakfast they should get their baked goods from the delicious bakery at street level in the building and not serve brioche baked (who knows when) and sealed in cellophane.

Stayed Jan 17 when my wife and I visited my daughter and family for the first time since their move to Castro Urdiales. Will be visiting on a regular basis and will stay here each time as the Pension was great value for money, in an excellent location, and the room was very clean and warm even though it was freezing outside. The staff were very friendly and helped with our suitcases up the flight of stairs to our room. Would recommend unreservedly.
