The Glazebrook has been a favourite place to eat since it opened 8 years ago. Stylish, elegant setting with the most amazing food and wonderful staff. Sadly we had our last perfect lunch there today, and will sadly miss this unique restaurant. Thanks for the memories, where will we go now to find the same quality and surroundings ? Good luck to the owners, you have left your customers wanting more, but how great to finish on a perfect 10. !

Room and amenities top class. A mini bar that for once did not charge. Great bathroom and shower. Dinner and breakfast superb. Arrived on a cold November evening but delighted to find the hotel warm and welcoming.

Fantastic decoration in both the room and throughout the hotel. The food at breakfast and for dinner was very tasty with a very good selection. Ambiance of the hotel was perfect. Located very close to Dartmoor for fabulous walks. We loved it here.

The owners of this hotel have created a true gem - the hotel is so welcoming, the staff are attentive, engaging and friendly, yet trained so highly. The rooms and decor are exquisite. The food and drink divine. I’m so glad we found this hotel and have been able to stay on a number of occasions - it has been our bolthole for relaxation and time out from the stresses of life and work. We wish the owners the very best for the future, we understand the decision to close but are also extremely saddened by it. Thank you for sharing it with us one final time!

We are spending three nights at this wonderful hotel and can not add to all the five star reviews on TripAdvisor It is truly a little gem and well worthy of the strongest of recommendations but, sadly is to close down at the end of the year. The owners can be exceptionally proud of the superb hotel they have created.

Visited for the second lunch sitting in the last month, the service was impeccable, food top notch all in all very reasonably priced. The Delice was the best desert I have ever had. Book for 3 weeks time as we have to have that desert before you close!!

Today myself and my wife visited Glazebrook House for the first time, we only live 15min away but had never been. To say we were disappointed is an understatement….we were disappointed with ourselves for not going sooner and we were disappointed to hear it was closing in Jan’22. The food was superb, the service was superb, the venue was superb and the staff were superb!!

Just had a 2 night stay at the Glazebrook Hotel and have enjoyed every minute. Amazing hotel, super comfortable and beautifully designed rooms and a fantastic restaurant and bar. A big thank you to all the staff for making this a memorable stay. This is a well run and beautifully thought out hotel and deserves 6 stars if we could add the extra star for atmosphere and staff. Good luck and best wishes in retirement to Pieter and Fran, you must be very proud of the work and effort you have put into making the hotel a great success. Thank you.

lovely hotel and clear to see style and money have gone into making it what it is, we came for lunch and it was very quiet which is always a worry but needless to say the food was first class and a credit to the kitchen team, it deserves the largest audience it is amazing, and without sounding like we have a charmed life, we were lucky this week to dine at the Pig and Paul Ainsworth Rojanna and they weren't a patch on the food offering here at Glazebrook. Front of house team charming and clearly enjoy delivering the product, thank you all and appreciate how hard it is to sell a restaurant but it deserves to be front and centre for all around the area. best of luck

The only real problem with this hotel is that Tripadvisor does not allow you more than 5 stars. It is, by far, the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in worldwide, and the knowledge and skill of the sommelier/cocktail barman is excellent. I hope that the premises is secure otherwise there is a danger of a break-in to steal the chocolate and caramel puddings, which, like all the hotel’s fare, is to die for. Congratulations to Peter and his charming staff on providing such a marvellous experience.
