Spent a lovely week at the Almyra. We arrived very late on our first night and Eleni welcomed us with a complimentary drink. The sea view rooms were lovely and spacious (I definitely recommend trying to get up to see the sunrise from your balcony). Eleni was wonderful, had such a good rapport with all the guests and is a real asset to the hotel. All the other staff were very attentive also but she is the standout. It’s a 10min walk down into the harbour but they have a regular shuttle bus to get you back up if you choose not to walk or a taxi is only €4. Being further up the hill gave you lovely views from the pool area and your rooms. Lots of guests seem to be returning guests and I can see why you would visit again.

Just enjoyed 2 great weeks at this excellent. Situated a 10 minute stroll outside Fiskardo Harbour with great sea views from the public areas and some of the better rooms.
What makes this hotel so special though is the staff. Led by the wonderful Ellini, right across the board to the waitresses and cleaners, nothing (and I mean nothing) is too much trouble. The rooms and public areas are immaculately clean and, whilst there is no evening food service, the breakfast and lunch are excellent. The utterly charming harbour itself has a wealth of great restaurants so there’s no shortage of choice for dinner. Our three favourites were Tassia (10% discount for Almyra guests) Panaramos and the Captains Cabin. The hotel provides a free mini bus to and from the harbour or taxis cost 5 euros.
The best reference we can give for this hotel is that we booked again for next year before we left!

We were so impressed with this fabulous gem of a hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and beautifully manged by the wonderful Eleni who I think knows every guest staying at the hotel by name, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. She is a gem herself.
The attention to detail in interior design is incredible, a welcoming stylish and chic reception and lounge area, a breakfast area with stunning views across the bay, all rooms are individually designed and decorated with elegant finishing touches and soft furnishings. There are several room types to choose from, we had a room with a side sea view - the views were across to the blue Ionian sea and other islands. The balcony was a good size for sitting out and enjoying sunset drinks, we were very happy with this room. Big bathroom and spacious shower.
The beds are incredibly comfortable so we had some amazing nights sleep.
Its a super pool area, although the pool is not heated - bracing! The bar was open all day to buy drinks, snacks or beverages. Reasonable prices.
A good tasty choice for breakfast, with all Covid guidelines being observed.
The hotel sits on a hill, and its only a 10 minute walk down to Fiscardo waterfront where you can find plenty of tavernas, bars & shops and enjoy watching the boats sailing into the harbour to berth for the night. However, the walk back to the hotel is 20 minutes up the hill - but that suited us after our evening meal.
We walked to one beach, its a stunning, scenic bay with a small kiosk where you can buy drinks and rent sunbeds. Beware its is a stoney beach, so you will need beach shoes. A couple of other beaches nearby had been affected by Hurricane Iona so we were unable to see them. We really hope to come back to this hotel as we were enchanted and taken with all it has to offer.

Rooms are big and spacious, with nice balcony to sit out on. The bed was so comfy, one of the best hotel beds we’ve slept on!! Breakfast was lovely too lots to offer for everyone. We never used the pool because we wanted to see all the little beaches which are not far at all. The ladies who run the hotel are so helpful and just really lovely. There is a shuttle bus for people to use, but we walked down to Fiskardo in the evenings as it’s only 10min walk down. Back up will be longer but we just got the shuttle bus. There is a bakery down the road (5min walk if that) that serves lovely coffee and lots of nice Bakery goods. The hotel offer a picnic if you want to take food for a day out. We had the best time and didn’t want to leave!! I am confident we will be back :-)

This pristine hotel is perched on a lovely piece of property a 12 - 15 easy walk or 5 minute drive from the amazing Port Fiskardo. An ideal location just far enough away to be free of the summer masses.

The hotel provides a nice breakfast daily and dinner options. The 28 rooms are ample in size and many with a pool or sea view. Free ample parking and something that is very unique in European hotels of this size “ an elevator “.. No lugging your one month of vacation clothing up a narrow staircase.. Wi-Fi was excellent but the icing on the cake at the Almyra is the Manager Eleni . A dedicated, hard working professional who treats the property as if it were hers and the staff as a family . I watched Eleni interact with guests over our stay and her smile is gracious and meaningful.
Another thumbs up is for Hromis a bartender. Jack of all trades professional .
He goes out of his way to assist when needed.
Fiskardo is about an 1:15 north of the Poros port so either arrive the island with a vehicle or arrange a taxi. Easy drive but I suggest first timers not arrive in the dark. You’ll
miss Myrtos Beach and the quaint village of Davarto with several excellent restaurants.

Outstanding hotel. Incredible views, lovely pool, great rooms. Service was always amazing. When we arrived and couldn't find a taxi, Elena came in the mini-bus to rescue us. Had great food at breakfast and lunches. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Such a relaxing week. Walk down to Fiskardo was fine and we always managed to time it so we got the mini-bus back or paid €5 for a taxi on a couple of occasions. The walk to Emplisi beach is easy and the beach itself is beautiful. Great snorkelling. Many fabulous restaurants in Fiskardo. Can't rate this place highly enough. Huge thanks to Elena for making it a very special week.

Second stay at the hotel and everything lived up to expectations. Absolutely lovely. As for the manageress Eleni - marks out of 10 - 11 - brilliant.
Well worth hiring a car for a few days (Eleni can arrange) to explore some of the wonderful island

Just heading home after a week at the amazing Almyra Hotel. This is my 3rd visit and will definitely be back again.

Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to chill in Fiscardo, the location is perfect- just outside of town and an easy walk in (and a complimentary shuttle has back!).

We stayed in a junior suite (107) which has fantastic views of Ithaca and the most amazing sunrise. Room is very spacious and bed comfy!

Breakfast at the Almyra is simple yet tasty. Fruit, yoghurt and honey was our regular choice. Homemade cakes, hot eggs (the oven baked omelette was my favourite), the Almyra's take on a spring roll has to be tried!

The hotel does not serve an evening meal, but there are plenty of restaurants down in the town. The lunch is great, lots of choice and an ideal way to while away a couple of hours in the day.

This hotel sees a lot of regulars and it has a lovely homely vibe. You can see why we all keep coming back.

The staff at the Almyra are all wonderful, but the star of the show is the wonderful Elani.

We arrived in the aftermath of the storm Ionis. The hotel had limited power and no hot water. Elani handled the whole situation calmly and efficiently - a good person to have around in a time of crisis!

We will see you again next year Elani! Thanks for being you.

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this beautiful hotel & we were sorry to leave. The warm welcome & outstanding service provided by Eleni & her team made us feel at home the minute we arrived. We had a junior suite which was spacious & comfortable & the tranquil environment made our week extremely relaxing. Not surprisingly most guests we met were regular visitors & we'll be doing the same now. Thank you Eleni for looking after us so well.

We visited in early July.... wasps are a small issue not enough to put you off enjoying your holiday. I’m not sure if the road is well lit back up to the hotel ha we always got taxis, my cousin who is in her early 40’s walked the walk in her own at midnight and said it wasn’t a problem but I can’t speak from experience. I think the whole area from what we saw is pretty safe though.
