We visited Agnantia for a week at the end of May with our 2 grown up daughters and it was just perfect!
Maira the owner and host is so caring, kind and knowledgeable and advised us of the best places to go on the beautiful north of the island of Kefalonia. Agnantia is in a beautiful & peaceful location and both our rooms overlooked the stunning views of the sea and across to the isle of Ithaca. Rooms were immaculate and comfortable with very comfy beds aiding a great night’s sleep.
The breakfast in a morning provided by Maira & her team were so welcome and a real talking point! Fresh eggs, very tasty home made Greek pies, local honey & gorgeous local yogurt with fresh juices, tea and fresh coffee were just the job to set you up wonderfully for the day.
We all have such fond memories of our time here at Agnantia staying with Maira and her team and hope to visit again soon! We recommend it very highly!

Maira runs a lovely B&B. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a refreshing homemade glass of lemonade. The B&B is a short drive from Fiskardo and the many wonderful beaches.

Our room which was very comfortable and freshly decorated, was on the first floor and had wonderful views from the balcony of the countryside and across the water to Ithaca.

Breakfast served on the terrace under the shade of large parasols was an absolute treat. Delicious local yogurt, honey, cheeses, fruit plus a homemade pie each morning will set you up for the day.

Maira is a fantastic host and dedicated to making her guests feel welcome and well fed. If you visit this B&B be sure to ask her for the short guide to Kefalonia that her daughter wrote.

Agnantia is definitely a real gem within a lovely scenery by the gorgeous Fiscardo area.
A beautiful building, up on a lovely hill, a breathtaking view over Kefalonia and Ithaka, close to magic waters and amazing beaches.
But that is just what originally motivates to make a booking.
What is the real treasure is only found when one can interact and meet Mrs Maira Sarri (manager) and her team, starting with home made lemonade. A perfectionist, kind, proud of her creations and services, always there to make sure our stay will be unforgettable. Going up and beyond expectations. Definitely an amazing woman, a loving person, an excellent professional and ambassador of greek hospitality.
What one can comment on the organization, the clean areas and rooms, supreme quality breakfast, with daily home made pies that Mrs Maira makes sure are not missed and generously wrapped to take away at the beach.
I could continue praising for days…
Highly recommended for travelers with high expectations
A not to miss opportunity!

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Kefalonia staying at Agnantia B&B for a week. The accommodation makes a refreshing change from the large hotels experience. It felt like a boutique hotel with beautifully comfortable rooms (great beds) a lovely lounge and an indoor and outdoor breakfast area. The location is quiet with fabulous views from the bedroom balconies over to Ithaca - I think I could have sat and looked over the sea to the island next door for hours on end. The rooms are attractive and well proportioned and the shutters are very effective. Breakfast was a lovely relaxing experience with Greek yogurt, fruit, nuts, eggs, toast, baclava, cakes, juice and coffee, not forgetting the pies that Maira made every day. The owner, Maira, and her team were friendly and helpful. The whole experience was wonderful and I hope to return again.

This accommodation is perfect for all those that want holidays free of stress: the host, Maira, is very caring and always is there to answer questions. The breakfast is delicious with different homemade greek pies every morning. We had a spacious suite on the top floor with a magnificent view over the sea and across to Ithaka. The beaches in the north of Kefalonia are perfect for those that like small cobble beaches framed by rocks - there are many in just a few km distance, most of them have olive trees to get some natural shade. All in all it was a superb holiday and we think of Agnantia very highly.

We stayed at Agnantia B&B for our honeymoon and had a delightful time and found our room had a couple of wooden hearts on the door and in the room which was a very sweet touch.
The view from the rooms is absolutely stunning, looking out over Ithaka, and I enjoyed the sunrise from our balcony.
Every morning Maira greeted us with a warm welcome. There was a delicious breakfast buffet where Maira cooked eggs however you liked them, and every day cooked a different traditional Greek pie which you could either have straight away or wrapped up for lunch. (One day we had to set off early and would miss breakfast so Maira put the fresh pie in our fridge for later).
Maira also had fantastic taste in food and recommended several local restaurants, all offering something different, and would book for us if we asked.
Maira really was a fantastic host. She was so personable and went above and beyond to ensure her guests had a lovely time.

(There is also free parking for guests, the room had a mini kitchenette which was useful).

Agnantia is a wonderful family-run B&B close to Fiscardo. Set in an ideal location, it was very picturesque & peaceful with breath taking views across the sea to the island of Ithaca from our balcony. The warm, friendly & generous hospitality offered by Maira was simply outstanding. Every morning we thoroughly enjoyed a homemade Greek breakfast prepared by Maira, with an array of local delights to choose from. Simply the best breakfast we have encountered! Maira' homemade greek pies were out of this world! Simply the best greek pies we have tasted, and each day of our stay, a different pastry to enjoy! Such a lovely gesture, & always going above and beyond to please all her guests. Maira' recommendations for local tavernas was very useful, with 'Makis' taverna our favourite by far, serving traditional greek dishes with a lovely atmosphere. The room was immaculate, comfortable & cleaned daily - everything you required for a relaxing holiday.
Thank you so very much! We will return!

Charming location in Fiskardo, Kefalonia. The view is amazing, the apartment was great, spotless clean. Everything is taken care in detail, the breakfast room looks like a family dining-room, even with books for reading. The breakfast is delicious, of a very high-quality. The host, Mrs. Maira, is an exceptional person, taking good care of every guest and her pies are mouth-watering.

Dear Luisa G, Thank you so much for reviewing Agnantia B&B and for posting those photos! It is so nice to read that you had a ‘’dream vacation’’! The dining room indeed provides a sense of community, which is something found only in small hotels (as you know Agnantia has only 11 spacious rooms). As a host I always try to pay attention to detail and have my guests pleased. I am so glad you also found the apartment ‘’spotless clean’’ and the handmade pies ‘’mouth-watering’’. Thanks again for your glowing review Hope to see you again next year! Maira Owner of Agnantia Bed & Breakfast

A lovely, charming B&B in a little village in the hillside around 10 mins drive to Fiscardo
harbour; convenient for exploring the North of Kefalonia though a car is definitely needed. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a sea view, balcony and kitchenette. Breakfast was delicious with fresh juice, coffee, fruit, cereal, local cheeses and honey, homemade cakes and pie (which they will wrap for you to take away if you prefer) and eggs made to order. Beach towels and sun umbrellas are available for use for free. Maira was very friendly and helpful with any requests and her daughter produced a downloadable guide with excellent recommendations for beaches, restaurants and activities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone looking for a homely place to stay.

Dear DuYu, Thank you so much for your glowing review! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with Agnantia. It was nice to see that you loved our ‘’rich’’ breakfast, which as you noticed was local and traditional, coming straight from the best producers of the island. The location is something our guests love. Relatively close to Fiscardo and also ideal for those who want to stay in a quiet place and at the same time want to explore the northern part of the island. Which can be done easily with the downloadable guide we provide to our guests. Hope to welcoming you again. Maira Owner of Agnantia Bed & Breakfast
