The apartment I stayed in was the TERPIS. There are no pictures on the Ionian website for that particular apartment so thought I would share some.

The apartment is lovely, compact with I think the biggest balcony of all the apartments there with a view looking over the trees and you can see the sea and Ithica in the distance. What a view.

The bathroom has a shower, large, modern sink, no waste bin (which is often the case in Greece so here you can put toilet paper down the toilet). A good size kitchen area. Two single beds pushed together. A dressing table. A closet. Table and chairs.

The apartment is ground floor, there is parking outside.

The pool is a one minute walk but I would not suggest it for people who are not able bodied. Only because its down a little slope and a step or two.

The whole apartment was very clean inside and out.

Loved staying there and would stay again. Recommend to friends, its a yes from me.

You will need car hire to stay here because of the location but Maganos is a five minute drive, Fiskcardo about 12 minutes. Its a good central location for Atlaties, Jerusulum, Emplisi Beaches.

What a lovely little find! We have visited this beautiful island over 20 times over many years, and this well appointed apartment is simply charming. Quiet, yet only a short distance from Fiscardo. Stunning view and well maintained. If you’re looking for something really clean, comfortable & welcoming, then look no further…

Beautiful and comfortable apartment, had everything we needed. Nice pool area. Very quiet village location, with the beautiful views it was idyllic. Recommend having a car, it was only a 5 minute drive to Fiskardo with the amazing tavernas and couple of cute bars.

Beautifully refurbished apartments, with a stunning sunrise view. Great peaceful location and easy drives to some lovely beach areas. Close to Fiskardo. Was really impressed with the apartment and comfortable bed. We had an amazing time.

We spent 2 weeks here at the end of July and stayed in the 'Clio' apartment. We got a great deal through voyage prive and the service from Ionian & Aegean Holidays was superb.

The apartments are simple but spotlessly clean. The 3 apartments on ground level (of which Clio is one) have large verandas, but the upper floor apartments have much smaller balconies. The kitchenette had everything we needed. There is a shared pool.

A car was included in our package and I don't think you'd manage without one. It's a short drive to Fiscardo and the nearest beach (Foki).

These apartments will provide you with everything you need for a perfect beach holiday. We will most definitely be back!

We've just returned from the Alexanna and had an absolutely fantastic holiday. The studio apartment we stayed in was very well equipped. The location is perfect. Peace and tranquility at it's best. Our only moan would be that we had a family with two small children in the apartment above ours and they could be a little noisy! Especially the mum walking about in her clogs on the stone floor!!! The surrounding area is beautiful. Travelling at this time of year was great - the beaches were far from crowded. The local restaurant in Maganos, The Ionian serves very tasty food, but for 'excellent' greek food try the restaurant in the next village Anitpata - the one on the corner of the turning towards Dafnoudi Beach! Just thinking about it makes me want to return there! The small mini-market in the village sells most things and the staff are very friendly. Will definately return - next week if i could!

We booked the two bedroom apartment through Ionian Holidays for a relaxing week away....we were slightly concerned due to the last review that we had read on here!! We would both advise to ignore the bad comments on the last review.
The transfers to the apartments took us straight to the apartment where our hire car was waiting for us. Also waiting to greet all of the guests was Rose who is lovely.
The apartment itself was very clean and there was everything that you needed including a washing machine!! The welcome hamper was also great and had all you needed for when you first arrive there!! The bathroom is very basic but it is very clean and has eveything that you need.....what else can you expect when you are visiting a small greek island...if you want something modern then I advise going to a 5* hotel!! This part of the island is very traditional so why try to change something that doesnt need changing!! The kitchen has everything that you will need the only thing is that when we were using the hobs they turned off after so long to cool down...but this didnt cause any major problems. Our only little moan is that mattress was not comfortable but we still managed to sleep.
The vehicle we had was sufficient for travelling on the island, the majority of the roads are very windy and occassionally steep, the vehicle coped very well.
Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would definately return back there and would recommend these apartments to anyone.

What a beautiful complex of 9 apts/studios. We booked this holiday through Ionian Island Holidays and they were very efficient throughout.

The apartment was fully equiped apart from no coffee perculator. The 'welcome hamper' was a bit of a disappointment because there was only 4 small pkts of coffee and sugar, 4 teabags, 4 miniture packs of butter and 2 mini packets of jam. There was a small carton of milk plus a bottle of white wine, water, a can of beer and 3 cans of soft drinks. You need to take your own coffee etc or buy it from the supermarket in Manganetsa village.

The pool was beautiful well cared for and immaculately clean. There is a big problem with the wasp population and you need to take plenty of insect repellant.

The Ionian staff were really excellent and helpful in the resort.

There is an excellent taverna in Manganetsa village called the Ionian Taverna. Superb food, a lovely hostess and staff, good wine, excellent Greek entertainment on Tuesday nights and the most fantastic sunsets to be seen from the terrace - this is must.

A word of warning do not be taken in by the hype for Nicholas's Taverna in Fiskardo. I feel that he is living on the old memories of the days of Captain Corilli's Mandolin being filmed there. We wanted a special night out on our last Friday night and booked a table at Nicholas's, we were promised entertainment of music and Greek dancing - what a disappointment. The food was dreadful, the service diabolical, not even piped music accompanied our meal and it was grossly over priced. This spoilt an otherwise perfect holiday.

Apart from that we had a super holiday and would definately recommend this island.

Alexanna Apartments provided 50% positive things and 50% negative. First for the negative.
1. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It was as hard as a rock. The chaise lounge chairs by the pool were more comfortable. We asked for some type of topper to make the bed more comfortable; they took a folded blanket and placed that over the mattress.
2. Parking. Parking is very tight. There were nights we opted to stay in rather than have to jockey for one if the last parking spots available. Not only is there little space to park, especially when the apartments are at full capacity, but you must back in to your space, and the amount of parking lot available to navigate your vehicle into the parking spot is minimal. Add the fact the parking area is sloped downward. Unless you are experienced with a manual transmission, parking your vehicle could potentially be not only challenging, but a tense experience.
3. Bugs. You are forced to shut things up at night and sleep with the a/c. We had hoped to keep the windows open at night and enjoy the sea breeze. However, the mosquitoes will not allow this, so you must resort the doors/windows shut and the noise if the a/c going not only for temp control, but to keep the air circulating. It would be nice if the room offered a Cei,I got fan as there were nights a fan would have been sufficient.
4. Don't expect to be in walking distance to any beach. You drive to the beach from this location.
5. Very small bathroom, which is fairly typical. Be sure to take your own soap, shampoo, washcloths, etc. also, if you do plan on going to the beach or yes the facility pool, you need to supply your own towels.
6. Wi-Fi connectivity was sporadic. The dependability of having Wi-Fi was uffy at best. They had a technician come to look at it while we were there, but I didn't notice any improvement after the fact. If you are looking for Wi-Fi as a means to keep in touch with family and friends, be prepared to not always have an ongoing connection.
POSITIVE
1. Convenient access to downtown Fiscardo by car. I have read reviews about walking to town. I am a walker, but hoofing these narrow and hilly roads on foot would not be an option I would remotely consider, especially at night.
2. Lovely swimming pool, which on many days I had to myself. They offer ample chaises and round tables/chairs, plus a raft to float around in the pool. There is ample shade and the pool was always clean as was the surrounding area.
3. The view of Ithaca from our terrace was beautiful. What a wonderful thing to see first thing in the morning. Not sure if the views are good from every apartment, but from the Terpis, it was.
4. Rowena, the facility manager is across the street and is helpful in providing info for your stay. I would recommend information in securing a taxi be provided in the room, directions to local markets for food/beverage be provided, and a notification in the room indicating where the hairdryer, extra pillows/blankets are kept.
5. Security. Although the room did not include a safe, the area in general seemed quite secure. I did not feel uncomfortable leaving money, jewelry, iPad, etc. in the room when I was out.

You just have to determine what in important. For me, I like to be well rested on vacation, and I did not gave a single night where I slept without waking up multiple times due to the hardness of the bed.

Decided to go for a self catering apartment for our holiday rather than our usual all inclusive choice. We booked through Ionian and Aegean holidays and got a late minute bargain booking. The apartment ( Thalia ) was just perfect, bit dated and mattress very hard but did not distract from the holiday. So tranquil and so beautiful, the views are to die for. The room was a studio but it was huge, separate kitchen and bathroom, large lounge with double bed. Room was cleaned mid week with new towels and bed linen. It is perfectly placed for exploring the island, Fiscardo only takes 5-10 mins in the car and again is a beautiful harbour with fantastic Tavernas. A lovely welcome hamper awaited us ( milk, bread, jam, coffee etc ) and meant we didn't have to rush off to the local mini market as soon as we arrived. We would definately recommend these apartments to our family and friends and everyone staying there said they would definitely return. A real gem
