What lovely apartments, spacious roomy and very clean. A 'put your paper down the loo' toilet (very rare in greece) and a nice powerful shower. A well equipped kitchenette, not that we cooked :-) The most amazing views, we were on the top floor. Plenty of sunbeds round the pool and no 'reserving' issues, it should be noted that we went the first 2 weeks in September and the apartments were approximately 1/2 to 3/4rs full so on many days we had the pool to ourselves. 10 minute walk into town with all the lovely bars and restaurant's. A super bakes just at the end of the drive. Will definatly be back

Our visit to Kalokeri was wonderful!
The hotel is situated just five minutes walk from the center of the picturesque Fiskardo Port. The property is well-maintained with a lovely pool and a nice seating area for reading or socializing.
The rooms are large size with very nice views in the Port of Fiskardo. The walking distance from the port is 7 minutes.
The property is well maintained and quite perfect for couples and families.
All and all Kalokeri will be my next next summer vacation get away vacation as well as well as this one. I highly recommend it.
Thank you!

Location is very good, just up the hill from the town, it is an easy walk down. You can walk to Emplisi beach which is nearby - lovely for swimming and snorkelling. Bakery and a very welcoming bar restaurant over the road. Decent pool.
Appartment itself is simple and tidy albeit it is a bit dated and needs a refurb. Aircon is noisy. Great views but balcony is small. Excellent value for money - we booked though booking.com.

Good points:
Views are beautiful from apartments!
Bakery 1 minute walk away, great for breakfast.
Kept very clean.
Good price for what you get.
Close to a beautiful beach - 10 minutes walk down a hill.
Fiskardo is 10 minutes walk down the hill.
Rep and team very friendly and helpful.

Bad bits:
The beds are so so so hard. I'm 33 years old and my hips and legs are sore after a week on those beds.

No a/c in the bedroom. It's outside the room, clearly quite old as it doesn't function too great and is very noisy.

Pool area is OK but nothing special. So we opted for the beach, which makes up for it.

The cost of the amazing views means that you are on top for a small hill. After an evening in Fiskardo port eating and drinking wine it is a bit of a slog walking back up. Just something to be aware of.

All in all we had a brilliant holiday. Loved Fiskardo. Would come back and would book with Ionian Holidays again. If we return we'd probably book something closer to the port area.

Great position the apartment had everything we needed we were three friends travelling and to have two showers and loo was a bonus. The room C1 fabulous view over Fiskardo and stunning sunrise. Beds were hard but got used to it and one shower was pretty poor but overall great would visit again.
Tarvena was 1 min walk as was the bakery. Fiskardo itself was 7 mins walk 5 euro cab back definitely needed. Be aware the man who hires the sun loungers is NOT pleasant at all !!

We just returned from a two week vacation at the Kalokeri Apartments where we had the most amazing time. The views are amazing and the pool lovely. There's a really nice taverna right opposite of the apartments with lovely views and really good food. There's a cafe which is a 2 minute walk as well. There's normally a pool bar but they didn't open this year due to the Corona Virus. We had a lovelytime, big thanks to all the staff who have been lovely.

Really comfortable room, slept like a log as so quiet. It’s worth being just out of the main town. Took just a few minutes in the car to get to Fiskardo and all the fab tavernas. Beautiful views from the private balcony. All we needed provided in the kitchen. Lovely big pool.

Kalokeri apartments Fiscardo, second to none.

Despite reading the bad comments about Kalokeri Apartments in Fiscardo there were also some positive ones that we read and so decided to take a chance and booked a double birthday holiday as my wife and I had our birthdays within 3 days of each other and the same year and being together as Husband and Wife since we were 19 years old, Well we can tell you that all the bad comments made about Kalokeri Apartments can be thrown out the window as they are untrue don’t know who upset the ones that put bad thing about them, we found them Superb, they knock spots of some of the ones we’ve stayed in over the years, and they have been good, they are what you would expect from an apartment, the bedrooms are good and clean, the bathroom/ shower are as good as you would expect and they are very spacious and clean, the Pool is brilliant and the Views are to die for, OK they don’t have a Telly or Radio, so what, we did not go on holiday to watch Tely or listen to the Radio ( TAKE YOU OWN MUSIC) but because I read this before we went , I made a point of asking the office why they didn’t have a Telly so to be able to report in this review, after asking, the main man told me that by next year they will have Telly’s installed. Toilet Rolls are supplied but they are not Andrex Quality, this is cause the underground sewer pipes in GREECE are not the same as the UK they are much smaller Diameter and thicker paper would block them up, so double your paper, hearing baby’s crying is not the apartments fault, baby’s cry and couples will argue so don’t be put off by those comments it’s not fair that they should have been made, As for going into Fiscardo it’s only 400 metres away down the gradual hill which is not that steep, we are both 66years old and didn’t find it hard, anyway as a car is included in the booking you can drive down, have a few drinks and leave the car near the front and take a Taxi back for a few Euros, the following morning you have a nice walk downhill which is easier, its only what we would do back in the UK when going out, and that’s how it is if you don’t want to break the law, you can if you don't feel like going into fiscardo go to the Taverna across the road called the PANNORAMA and have food and drink thou we only had drinks, As for the Taverns they are all pretty much the same EXPENSIVE, but we did use the Thai once or twice for a change, and TASSIA and LAGOUDERA on other occasion, For fresh bread there are 2 or 3 bakeries but the one to look for is TSELENTIS which is situated by the Square, I am a retired Chef that worked on Cruise Liners and so made the best of the Self Catering Apartment, I cooked meals in the mornings for the evenings and had Tea/ supper before going for a drink, we very often felt hungry after having a drink and use to have a snack with our drinks , but beware the 3 or 4 so called Supermarket are one’s to avoid for grocery’s , bottles of 500mm Amstel Lager were 1,30 Euro to take out which is not too bad its on par with the Stella in the UK, the Taverns charge between 3 to 4.50 Euros a bottle, the car which is included with the booking was very handy cause as I mentioned above Fiscardo is EXPENSIVE and what you do when you go for a drive to Explore the sites you will eventually come to a place named ARGOSTOLI, don’t go into ARGOSTOLI itself go outside OF IT and you will find 3 Supermarket on being LIDLE, which was the one we used, you kill 2 birds with 1stone by seeing parts of Kefalonia and cheap groceries to take back, thou we did take some cereals and other bits and bobs, like corn beef, tin of ham, powder milk, coffee, tea, rice, bacon, but we went on the reviews, you might think OH all that but believe me they came in handy.
The boat hire is not on, it like 30,40,50, per trip of 1 2or3 hours +Petrol, which can be expensive, about 100 Euros for the longer trip, so don’t say I didn’t tell you, one trip you might want to consider is the one on the Ferry to LEFKADA and the place it actually goes to is VASILIKY this costs 8.50 Euros each way you cannot get a return, Vasiliky is a nice place with less Tavernas than Fiscardo and cheaper and has a beach just a little way up the coast, the one to eat or drink in is the very first one that you come to that has the seats on the left hand side and the building is on the right, its like orange coulor building after you come of the Ferry, its called VAGELARAS TAVERNA you can’t miss it, it’s got a bicycle on the wall and also the word ACQUA in silver letters, good food cheaper drinks 2.50 Euro for a 500mm bottle, and really nice people, we will return sometime but will probably stay in Lefkad for a change if IONIAN HOLIDAYS have properties there, they are a brilliant company with Superb apartments.

Spent a week in October in a studio at Kalokeri Apartments with mixed feelings about the place. On initial inspection, I was disappointed with the room as the bathroom is really old and dated and there were absolutely no added amenities in the room (nothing except for the kitchen and its accoutrements – not even a TV or safe!) However, the room was very spacious, very clean, had beautiful views and the staff very helpful if you needed anything. They even provide you with a food starter pack which is really appreciated and thoughtful. The location was good too – not in Fiskardo town but a ten minute walk down the hill which we didn’t find an issue with (though beware there is no pavement to walk on). It’s also ten minute walk to a beautiful local beach which is definitely worth visiting over and above the pool area which was a little dull. Noise levels from above and next door are very bad though so be prepared to hear everything and be heard! The grounds do have free wifi, though in a storm this gets turned off! The best part of the package deal staying at Kalokeri though is the car hire – Kefalonia is STUNNING and getting out of Fiskardo and seeing the beaches and some of the other towns is definitely worth it. Roads are fantastic to drive on and everything is signposted so you can get around very easily. Given the cost of the full package, Kalokeri was a good deal however the apartments do need sprucing up and modernising, including some much more comfortable beds (they were rock hard!)

The good points first:
Charlotte the Ionian rep was absolutely lovely, as were all the Ionian staff we met in Fiskardo and then Ithaka, they are huge assets to Ionian. The studio apartment was very clean and the view was fabulous (top floor). We weren't too troubled by noise as we were at the top, only shouting or running past of other guests on that floor occasionally. It was a bit of a walk down to Fiskardo but we enjoyed that but I can see that if you struggle with a bit of a hill or have small children it might not be ideal. The young woman who ran the bar / snack bar was so nice, and it was very fairly priced. Loved the book selection! The pool was clean and nice, it did suffer from the slightly tedious people who left towels on loungers for hours whilst not being there, but this happens everywhere and is not the fault of the owners. We spent more time at the gorgeous beaches.
The only negatives were that the apartment was a little too a spartan and not hugely inviting and the bathroom was a real let down, very dated and a grubby shower curtain and rail that kept coming apart from the wall. But we still had a fabulous time and adored Fiskardo and Ithaka where we had a second week. I wouldn't rule out another stay if there was a good last minute offer for the apartment but hopefully the bathroom might be due a refurb!
