Cnic Paleo Artnouveau Hotel, an adults-only retreat, is lauded for its breathtaking views and picturesque locale, although the journey there might be challenging for some. While the staff earns compliments for their friendliness, the service can falter, with reports of delayed room readiness. Amenities such as entertainment are a hit, yet guests have called out the spotty Wi-Fi and limited bar service. In terms of accommodations, the rooms offer stunning views but are criticized for being dated. Moreover, additional charges have led some to question the hotel's value.

We booked a weeks stay for our first visit to Paleokastritsa and we will be back. Views are amazing. Staff are great and very friendly. We had a superior bungalow with private pool and it was great, pool itself was a little small and dated but did the job when needing to cool off from lying on your private sun loungers. Must visit La Grotta and must hire a boat to go exploring the many secluded coves and beaches. We booked bed and breakfast, but after seeing the food available we upgraded to all inclusive at a cost of 20 euro pppn. We met some lovely people as a result and would highly recommend a visit here.

My girlfriend & I had a great week here at the end of May. The views from the balcony and the main bar patio are amazing. It's close to everything in Paleokastrista which is a beautiful area.

The food was some of the best i've had at an all inclusive resort.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special shout outs to Angela at the main bar and Mario & Yanis at the pool bar. Angela makes the most amazing strawberry mojito and the other guys at the pool bar made great passionfruit daiquiris. Make sure you try both of these when you visit :) The entertainment team were also great fun, full of energy! The oldest man working in the restaurant, i didn't catch his name, he was great. Always smiling and happy to help.

A few bad points, there was no good coffee in the room or restaurant, the room didn't even have milk for the nescafe instant coffee. The bar had what looked like a good coffee machine, but you had to pay extra for that. The cleaner only makes the bed & refreshes towels, they do not refresh coffee cups or take away cocktail glasses, so they only do half a job. The noise from the corridor on the 3rd floor was crazy late at night, a large gap under the door means you hear everything.

A recommendation around the coffee situation, buy some nescafe cappuccino sachets from the shop and use these in your room. These have powdered milk included and taste pretty good. You will have to wash your cups in the bathroom daily because the cleaner doesn't.

To summarise, we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. Happy holidays :)

I came with my mum for a week away all inclusive and its was one of the best holidays I've ever been on.

Everything was very very clean including public areas. The bar staff are lovely, very polite and very generous.
The food is what you'd expect for a all inclusive, for me who loves salad and fish this was amazing for me. However those who are picky may not have had the same enjoyment.
I only eat fish and not meat I feel that if you were a vegetarian or vegan there is minimal choice however this didn't affect me at all.

The entertainment team had bright smiles and enthusiasm all throughout the holiday and it is slightly disappointing the lack of engagement with them.

All inclusive till 11 is reasonable, I would defo recommend all inclusive of half board as Corfu town and restaurants are 5-10 minute walk.

Beautiful beautiful view despite being told 'limited sea view' from our room. Amazing view of the sea and the sunset at night is amazing.

I would only have one complaint and this isn't a huge issue for a holiday. The wifi is a bit spotty and is only reachable near pools and the downstairs lobby and dining hall. This might have been a personal experience however.

Despite cocktails not being on the all inclusive list, which is understood as people have to make their money somehow especially with the hardships suffered for many companies after covid. They still provided a 50% discount, which made very nice cocktails still cheaper than UK.

There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes straight to the monastery for those interested in history/religion or to Corfu town. Very cheap and good transport. Do not get a taxi these cost upwards of 40 quid.

Reception team were always able to answer any questions and give us directions. And the staff quickly tidied tables.

For a couple, family or solo holiday I would recommend this very much so. Will cater to everyone even if you arrive at 3am like me, there was still a bar staff member

Let me start by saying that for a 4 day stay I paid 988 Euro including tax. This was an all inclusive price which supposedly covers meals at the restaurant and drinks at the bar. I really didn’t have a problem with the cost because I was expecting a nice room and some conveniences for this price. By the time the check-in is open, conveniently the restaurant is closed and you can’t get anything to eat. I was informed that the cafe/bar was open if you want a drink and I suppose some nuts or something equally ridiculous. I’m not sure though because I didn’t go down to see. There was no room service to order anything either. So my disappointment began there. The bellboy showed me to my room which was another disappointment. The toilet wasn’t very clean and the shower didn’t even have shelves to put your shampoo or soap on so you are forced to put them on the floor. The towel rack is across the room so you have to walk wet across the room to dry off. There is no towel rack at all by the sink if you want, say to brush your teeth and dry your mouth and face. The temp that day was 100 degrees and knowing someone was checking in they never turned on the A/C to cool it off. The small fridge was rusty along the bottom and the walls were marked up and appeared that no maintenance was done to repair any of it. On the plus side if you want to call it that, the view was beautiful. For the size of the room they have a 32” tv which was ridiculous too. Would I stay here again? The answer is a definite no.

Extremely disappointing. There is not a chance in hell this is four star. It’s grubby , tired and in dire need of a manager that can see issues. A simple walk around the hotel inside and out would immediately indicate any number of little things that would improve impressions. On arrival you walk up a set stained stairs . You enter the reception and your heart sinks . It’s depressing, dark and tatty. The room is smelly , there is black mould on walls and the floor. The towels are grey and threadbare. The door to the only hanging space hits the door closer and the other slams shut . There are no hangers . One spongy pillow.
If your room is visited by housekeeping , your bed is made , coffee cups are left and you may get clean towels.
The pool areas are just as uninviting as the rest of the hotel. The kids are hasn’t been swept for goodness knows how long and some sort of faeces is on the mats.
The food is bland and totally predictable. Simple things like bowls and spoons , salt and pepper grinders are often missing.
The lifts are small , too small for more than one person and luggage. One that leads to the top floor pool has been spat on .
The main bar just smells, sweat , smoke .
I guess if you are just looking to maximise income and minimise expense this place is right up there.
The upside was some of the staff were pleasant and the nearby Akron Beach bar and restaurant which offered some respite from the grime , with the only decent menu and drink .
I would strongly advise against the Paleo Nouveau . I would recommend the hotel invest in some brooms and resist the urge for porters to use the main entrance to stock bars and kitchens .

AVOID at all costs.
I am so disappointed.
There are so many things wrong with this hotel, I don’t know where to begin?
Firstly, it needs a major facelift. Whilst the location and views are stunning, it seems to rely solely on this as the exterior, public interior areas, restaurant and rooms are extremely dated. The “bungalows” are reminiscent of WW2 bunkers!
Internal decoration, Think 1987 and ready for much much more than a simple lick of paint.
The Wifi in the room is practically nonexistent (You have to sit outside of your room and even then it’s sporadic at best with one to two bars) and the television is almost exclusively set to Greek channels with one BBC news channel that loses signal.
I was in a “bungalow” with private plunge pool.
Oh dear. Dated, not particularly clean (Though I wasn’t allowed access for check in at 2pm as they were “mopping the floor”, upon entry - floor had dirt in every corner) It was sparse - think granny flat for someone who’s a bit hard up, and falling apart!
Externally there were a collection of glasses from the bar on the lawn beside my room that didn’t move for 3 days.
The hairdryer stopped working the moment I used it, the shower fixture came off in my hand and I had to screw it back on (The bathroom is awful btw - like Bates Motel) Somebody’s botched hair dying session stains the bath and the majority of the grouting is peppered with mould whilst the sink surround and walls are made from fibreglass in stone effect (!?) Awful. No bottled water in the room for arrival, no information provided so you don’t even know how to call reception (I guessed at dialling 9), the plunge pool; despite appearance is Lino and not tiled, and all this for 750 Euros (For just 4 days)
Now, I’m not a “Karen” and have never left a review like this before but mark my words, dear travellers
Avoid this hotel at all costs.
On a final (positive)note, the lady at reception seemed extremely nice, (Georgina?)professional, well turned out and (understandably) awkwardly apologetic as I imagine she is dealing with complaints of this nature on a daily basis. Also, despite my complaints; the manager (Christine?) was extremely gracious.
The staff are obviously doing their best with what they’ve been dealt with.
Such a pity.
After consulting the powers that be, to their credit they did offer me a refund if I checked out or a change of room. Unfortunately I came in high season so no other hotel rooms were available. I had to grin (grimace) and bear it.
Advertised as 4 star, this is a U.K 2 star rating (3 star European) at absolute best.

Thank you for taking time to write a review. It was with great concern to note your dissatisfaction and the impression created. We would like to take this opportunity to mention our bungalows with a mini pool are our most popular room type and we have received multiple comments regarding the high value for money compared to other hotels with the same room type, this of course does not disregard the issue with the cleanliness which you raise and we do apologize for this. The pool is lino for health and safety reason. Furthermore, as mentioned in your review, we did offer you the option of a refund or the opportunity to change room, with you staying in the room we believed all issue were solved during your stay. Additionally as your room was slightly delayed for check-in we provided you with a complimentary lunch. Our TVs have multiple international TV channels and also the hotel directory. Please feel free to reach out to us via email with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. Kind regards, Guest Relations Team at CNic Hotels

A pleasant stay, a wonderful view from the balcony.

The hotel staff, especially those serving the dining room, impeccable as protection measures against covid-19.

If you are thinking of helping and not asking for room cleaning every day (we asked for it every 3 days), think again.
This means that not even the towels will be changed. Maybe that means room cleaning.

However, it is worth spending a stay in Paleokastritsa.

Nice week in Corfu. Decent hotel, lovely view from our room and beds comfortable enough. We hired a car and travelled about so didn't eat in every day but found food to be plentiful and varied enough.
As someone else said, if you want wall to wall marble this hotel isn't for you. Nice enough but have definitely stayed in better 4 star hotels. Bottled water upon arrival would have been appreciated arriving in on a night flight. The top pool bar should remain open if guests are using that area. Pleasant enough stay for a week

As a family of four (myself, husband and two teenagers) we stayed in one of the suites. The panoramic view of the bays and hills were amazing, I could even go as far as saying magical. House keeping visited our room daily to empty bins, make beds and leave fresh towels. The beds were very comfy and the suite was an ample size for the four of us. The restaurant provides a wide selection of dishes from traditional Greek to other European foods, always something tasty for everyone.
Sumos who greeted as the door of the restaurant every day and showed it to the best table available was a credit to the hotel always smiling, cheerful and very helpful. Vitalis and team were fantastic keeping us entertained every evening. Thank you CNic Paleo ArtNouveau we loved our stay and will definitely be back!!!!

The hotel is nicely located on the west side of Corfu, away from the busy centre, with amazing views over the cliffs.

The rooms are decent, but only the wifi is a problem. The front desk is super fast when asking for things like a new towel or something. The breakfast is great, make sure to include that. Another great plus is that it has a shop right outside the door with everything you could need for a vacation, including stuff for snorkling.

But what REALLY sets this hotel apart from others is the entertainment. The hotel had hired someone to organise events (man named Vitalis) and every day he would organise things in the morning (stretching and gymnastics), during the day (waterpolo tournamenpt on the roof pool, tennistable tournament), and in the evening (disco night, karaoke, pub quiz). And he really gets the crowd hyped for everything (plus, a chance of free drinks during the evening activities!)

Really had a great time here, as evening activities on the island are pretty scarce
