Panzi is an owner-managed lodge where we care about our guests and their unique wildlife experience during their visits. Panzi is all about “A Wildlife Experience” enjoying South African hospitality at its best. Panzi Lodge is located in the Greater Kruger Region in the Limpopo Province in South Africa, roughly 500km from Johannesburg. Panzi Lodge is specifically situated within the borders of Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, which is half an hour outside of Hoedspruit and 30 minutes outside of the Kruger National Park’s Orpen Gate. We are perfectly placed to experience all the activities the Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and the local town Hoedspruit have to offer. Panzi is a 20 bed lodge with free parking & free wifi available at the main lodge, main lodge also opens up onto the bar, lounge and dining area. During the rainy season there is a river that runs through the boma area adjacent to the pool. The waterfall can be heard from some of the chalets dur

Amazing. Easy to navigate to, even the 7km gravel piece of road was smooth for a sedan vehicle after rains. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing rooms and food. Overall a great experience, would do it again

From the moment we submitted our booking enquiry we were treated with so much friendliness and hospitality! Ingrid and her team was amazing. The cottages are incredible. With two wide doors opening up, you feel as if you are sleeping right in the bush. Everything is so tastefully decorated. The shower room has incredible floorspace and the outdoor shower was such a treat. Included in our stay was breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious! Dinner was especially nice as the menu consisted of true South African dishes. We enjoyed the self help honesty bar! It was stocked with everything that one might need and the drinks are very well priced. The game drive was a huge treat. Eventhough we did not see lots of game, our ranger tought us things about the bush, birds and plants that we did not even know. I would highly recommend Panzi lodge! And we will be going back there just as soon as we can.

Lovely location in the heart of the bush, with amazing birdlife to make for wonderful mornings. Peaceful, private and tranquil. The rooms are very clean and the outside shower is amazing! Staff is super friendly and Irene will go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Food was made with love and the dishes are very homely. I recommend you check with them whether the pool is running, to manage expectation - the weather caused some pool problems during our stay so we could not splash. Guided walks around the reserve are a treat and highly recommended. Wonderful rejuvenating stay!

Panzi Lodge exceeded our expectations.
The staff where extremely helpfull and friendly. Charmain (the manager) and Leah (her four legged assistant) went out of their way to decorate our room, direct us to the best tourist spots and make us feel at home.
The kitchen staff go out of their way to make every meal special and they are certainly not shy with their portion sizes.

We enjoyed the excitement of the animal activities at the look out point and the quiteness and coolness of our bedroom.

Panzi Lodge will definitly be the first place that we visit when we return to Limpopo

Our hosts were attentive to our needs and had great suggestions to discover the area. The rooms are well spread amongst the site for privacy and quiet time. Access to wifi, aircon and decoration were highly appreciated with the outside shower. As a family, we wish to come back in this little heaven where you can appreciate the wild, the greens and swimming in very hot days.
Thank you Charmaine, Irene and the Panzi Team!

I loved the location of the place. The room was amazing plus there was no tv. It’s so peaceful. The food was prepared with love like home cooked meal and The staff was very friendly. I wouldn’t mind going back with my partner without the baby😁

Due to my delayed departure from Johannesburg I arrived at Panzi in the dark, but easily found the
place with the directions given to me by the manager, Ms Charmain.
The moment of your arrival, you forget about the pressures and hectic life in Europe. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. Sitting inside or out on the porch of your very well taken care of cottage makes you feel being in the Africa described in Hemingway's "Green Hills of Africa". Kruger National Park located not even a 30 minutes drive away adds to the feeling..
I'm looking forward to return, I felt like royalty but was treated as family.

Stayed at Panzi during a business trip.

Every guest that checked in during my stay including myself received a warm welcome and was treated with the highest level of service and hospitality by the staff, management and the owner of Panzi Lodge

The lodge itself is situated inside a game reserve and has a very peaceful, luxurious and authentic bush feel. To top it, Kruger National Park is right next door!

Will highly recommend and will definitely be back!!!

Thanx a mil Irene, Charmaine, Kenny, Axel and the rest of the Staff :-)
