Perfect size, not too busy, lovely staff, amazing food! Not much for kids, but ideal for couples/adults/older kids. Rooms were clean, daily maid service. Pool area is clean/pretty and stone through from the beach!
Hotel spotless stunning setting on the beach great food breakfast was brilliant my room was massive and cleaned everyday location was perfect as your 5 mins to town hotel is on the beach which is stunning all staff really nice enjoyed my week
Stayed here mid September, we booked through tui and at no point we’re we told that it would be a ground floor room (when I say ground floor I mean under reception) so please be aware if booking with tui that you will be ground floor. Nevertheless we were happy with the room, it was clean and had everything we needed and was very modern. Only downside would be the balcony didn’t have a good view and was quite small. Breakfast was nice, didn’t have loads of choice but there wad something we both liked. Location good too, right on the beach and close to lots of shops and restaurants . The resort itself is lovely, lots going on and very friendly people.
Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Phoenix beech, to be honest we have very mixed feelings about our stay. Positives Hotel is in a great position right on the beach One receptionist was lovely, the older one was miserable The waiting on staff- young girl, young lad and Arturo on the beach were very good. Negatives All of the extras- 30 euros per week for poor air con 15 euros per week for safe 15 euros per day for sun beds on the beach 2 Miserable guys working on the bar. To top it off, we asked for 2 cups of boiling water one day, so we could use our own tea bags as we didn’t like their tea. The guy on the bar said he couldn’t do this as they sell tea at the bar. There is no kettle in the rooms. The standard of cleaning was not very good in the rooms and the balcony. It felt like they only wanted to take your money, and they weren’t interested in you whatsoever. Big argument one day between bar manager and waiter which was very unprofessional. Would we stay hear again-PROBABLY NOT under the present regime. …
Visited the Phoenix beach hotel for the third time after a few years in between. check in was quick and from the onset the staff were all brilliant. Room was small but bed comfortable and all that was required for a weeks holiday. The breakfast was also everything you needed. The pool area is not the biggest and only about 14 sunbeds due to Covid. first couple of days no issues if you wanted a bed but after that the towel brigade arrived. We prefer the beach and were happy to pay 15 euro a day for beds on the beach. The bar staff were extremely friendly and the service was really good, used the bar for lunch most days and it was all good. decent cocktail list and they were also great. all in all a very good holiday and glad we picked the hotel, so much so we are going back next year. As for covid restrictions didn't find anything to impact the holiday and everywhere was cleaned and sanitised.…
