1. Staff not wearing facemasks on arrival or whilst checking in! 2. Waking in the morning no water in 4 single rooms our group occupied! 3. Breakfast was served with cold as the egg dishes were placed on shelf while chips were cooking We really like this place based on past visits but now disappointed with the level of service, hopefully things will get back to what was past experiences Our group was 8 persons strong and deserved far better service!

The owner, Jan Folkus, was very accommodating and kept his staff on late in the evening to service the restaurant for us. Rates for camping were very reasonable and the ablutions were in a very good condition. Highly recommended.

Our second time at the Big Fig Inn. Clean comfortable accommodation with basic restaurant and shop. Ideal stop-over to cross the border early the following day. Camping on green grass. Owner very accommodating.

Stopped overnight enroute to Botswana. There was a huge storm just before arrival so there was no electricity. Check in was quick and we were shown to our room. We were given a candle and a box of matches. But fortunately the power can back on shortly after.
