Gloriously positioned on Kommeno Peninsula with thrilling views, a belle epoque beach and a giant pool jardin. Eva Palace is nestled in cypress gardens and olive groves only 10 minutes from Corfu town – yet feels worlds away: secluded, framed by 2 sparkling seas with a grand boutique feel into it. Eva Palace offers a romantic collection of rooms, suites, beautiful bungalows and villas, newly appointed. Imaginative cuisine and sweeping views over the Ionian Sea. Don’t miss the old world Bellini bar – Pasticceria Veneziana and the colorful Granita Cabana by the beach, both inspired by Corfu’s Venetian Era. An expansive roster of activities for every age, from revitalizing with Yoga sessions and training with Calisthenics Gym, to snorkeling in crystal clear waters and discovering the island’s highlights. Whatever your adventure preferences, you are sure to find something to enjoy at Eva Palace.

Grecotel Eva Palace has earned praise for its serene location and picturesque scenery, complete with a convenient shuttle service to town, though its relative isolation has been a point of critique for some guests. While the hotel's amenities, including the alluring pool and beach, receive positive remarks, room maintenance and restrictive all-inclusive packages have drawn some concerns. The service is generally acclaimed for the staff's warmth and diligence, yet there have been occasional hiccups with check-in efficiency. Visitors appreciate the tranquil and refined atmosphere, with live music adding to the ambiance.
However, opinions on the value offered are mixed, as some guests have faced unforeseen expenses. Room experiences are varied, with accolades for their spaciousness and views, but criticisms for datedness and upkeep shortcomings. Cleanliness is largely commended, though a few guests have noted lapses in housekeeping.

Detailed Reviews
Just returned home from an absolutely amazing week at the Eva Palace – we had many highlights and lovely memories, but have to say, it was the wonderful staff who made the holiday so special for us. The customer service was excellent from the moment we arrived, and particularly want to thank Marika and Maria for looking after us so well. All of the reception staff were super friendly & helpful, and Maria who greeted us for breakfast each day was wonderful.
We dined in the A la Carte, La Contessa most lunchtimes & 2 evenings, and Alvina and her lovely restaurant team were particularly good – I have medical conditions which require me to have a strict gluten free & dairy free diet, and Alvina arranged for the chef to prepare special dishes for me every time we dined. It was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the food and scenery, knowing they had been so careful in the kitchen. We dined outside on our last night, and the view across the bay at sunset was spectacular. The food was delicious and service so friendly and attentive. A magical evening.
Kommeno bay has stunning scenery and beautiful crystal clear waters. We hired paddleboards & kayaks from the watersports guys on the beach and loved spending time on and in the sea. Its worth booking early in the week if you want to take a boat out for a day & explore, we left it too late & all the boats were already booked up – next time we’ll book a few days ahead.
We took a taxi down to explore beautiful historic Corfu Town for the day & ate at En Plo, a lovely family restaurant by the harbour - it’s worth taking swim wear too as you can join the locals for a sea dip, after lunch. And after 6pm you can enjoy drinks & incredible views across Corfu Town from the roof terrace at the Cavalier hotel.
Our villa was spotless, beautiful & spacious with a lovely pool, and only a few steps down to the beach bar and the beach below. After busy working lives, we slept so well on the super-comfy mattress and have returned home revived & refreshed! The cleaning staff, as with all the staff we encountered, work really hard to try and ensure guests have a good holiday. As they were closed last summer and opened late this year, many of them commented on how lovely it was to have guests staying again and you can really tell that they genuinely care.
Thank you to all the staff who looked after us so well and gave us such a special holiday to remember!

We spent a week here late June and travelled with friends.
The hotel is set in a lovely location with wonderful vistas from the 3rd floor Bar area which is very swish and all the staff were welcoming.
The pool and pool bar are great places to hang out and relax watching the day go by. They have new wicker sun beds which are very comfortable. Ewa looked after us around the pool and she was great making sure we were topped up with drinks throughout the day. Theodora also gets a shout out as she was very welcoming at Breakfast and Dinner.
However this is not a 5 star hotel, at best an average 4 star.
We booked all inclusive via TUI which the hotel calls 'Comfort Package' however this does not include all drinks (i don't expect Grey Goose or single malts to be part of all inclusive) however Coffee, Expressos, Cappuccino, Tia Maria, Mojito, Mai Tai to name a few were all chargeable.
TUI sold the All Inclusive c/w snacks - this would have been very welcome on our arrival as we had a very early flight and long delays at Corfu airport resulting in us not getting to the hotel until 3.30pm. Light snacks to see us through to dinner would have gone down a treat.
One evening we wanted a table for 4 with the lovely views from the veranda however the waitress suggested we come back at 9.00ish when there should be spaces. Although the buffet dinner is served up till 9.30pm as soon as the clock struck 9.30 the staff were quick to clear up the restaurant whilst we and others were still dining. I had to ask for some ice-cream from the staff as it had already been packed up (not what you expect from a 5* hotel)
The buffet lunch and dinners were nice but the same most nights. I am glad we were not here for 2 weeks. Entertainment was very forgettable, there was only one night when the band got us up and dancing.
We were told the air con in the main bar had been turned down to reduce costs, windows could not be opened due to the railings not being safe, so it was always a little to warm to enjoy this area.
Ideally located to hire a boat to see the island with boat hire available from the hotel beach. The beach bar was great and toilets were very clean.
Not sure whether Covid is increasing in Greece but last two days of holiday all staff reverted to wearing mask, when asked 'to protect themselves'
Would i return to this hotel - No

Dear guest, We would like to thank you for sharing with us your experience pertaining to your stay at our hotel. It is indeed a very interesting review with a great amount of feedback and we do appreciate it! Throughout the years we have been welcoming both positive and negative reviews as we consider them an opportunity for being better, however please allow us to not share your conclusion with regards the star rating of our hotel. We believe in our product and services and we are daily striving for improving those for the benefit of our valuable guests! With regards the Comfort Pack package, it offers a wide variety of food and beverage items to accommodate all needs and expectations. All tour operators are clearly stating the ingredients of each package nevertheless we do thank you for letting us know your thoughts! As far as the evening entertainment, we have tried this season to offer a variety of sounds in an effort to cover all needs 6 days a week. From blues to jazz, from local music with folkloric dancers to International solo guitarist and our popular jazz boy band on Mondays. We are sad to read that our program wasn't up to your standards. With regards the airconditioning at the lobby bar, it's good to comment for future guests that are now reading your review - the lobby bar has a huge front sliding window which is constantly open securing plenty of fresh air and a nice breeze. The side windows are closed during windy days as the wind currents are pretty strong, I want to assure you that the lobby bar balcony railings are solid and safe for all our guests and staff! Dear guest, it seems that in certain parts of your stay we haven't managed to fulfill your expectations and please accept our sincere apologies for this! Please rest assured that your feedback has been well noted for further improvement! We do hope your trip back home was pleasant and it will be our pleasure in having you back when the time is right. Thank you. Kind regards, Panayiotis Petrides General Manager

We have just returned from a week at the Gracotel Eva Palace in Corfu and have had a wonderful time.
The location is second to none, with sea views all around the peninsular and the site and gardens are beautifully maintained.
The staff went out of their way to make a special celebration birthday even more special.
At all times COVID safety was observed.
We can especially recommend La Contessa a la carte restaurant for a very special evening.
Also worth mentioning is the high standard of background live music in the evening, which we really enjoyed.
A very small request - suction rubber bath mats for showers / baths for these very slippy surfaces.
We can thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be returning in the future.

Well, this hotel has a couple of policies.
1) deny they were told about a problem
2) claim it was fixed only you just didn’t notice.
3) deny, deny, deny
You only need to read the snippy, negative responses from the hotel manager to see quite how you are perceived: you need to be unfailingly positive. You really don’t need me to demonstrate this, you just need to read the hotel managers comments. But, you may say, isn’t this just having a go at the manager to which i reply, ‘yes, it probably is, but this is a service industry and a manager that believes the customer is always wrong sets the tone for the hotel’. That permeates the culture and don’t give a damn attitude.
What good hoteliers do is to take feedback and look to address the issues. Bad hoteliers turn things around and tell you that it your fault.
Rooms are tired and basic. The facilities the hotel has are not advertised well. The girls in the spa must be bored out of their minds as the only way you’d know it existed is a tiny A4 on the end of the reception desk and a teeny, tiny plaque in the creaky lift.
Bathrooms are barely ok, not as good as a travelogdge, better than a Blackpool bed sit. The Baths flex alarmingly when stepped into and the tiles are falling off the wall.
From a location perspective, if you want solitude, it’s here for you because there’s nothing around other than the sister imperial hotel and its expensive to get into town.
Food is ok, nothing to complain about, nothing to get excited about. It’s bland.
Which sums the hotel up. It’s like a bland, magnolia room, painted in cream with a bland carpet, and bland furniture.
So why the one star? We’ll, it’s not me that’s claiming to be a five star hotel is it?

Dear guest, Thank you for reaching out to us and told us how you feel. We do welcome both positive and negative reviews as we consider them as an opportunity to be better! It seems that during your stay we haven't managed to meet your expectations and we deeply sorry about that.During the winter period the hotel has undergone a significant rennovation in many areas such as: - The building has been painted inside/out - Brand new 50'' TV's are now installed in all rooms - Brand new bed side lamps - Brand new curtains In additon, our Spa on the 6th floor and our Steak & Sushi restaurant are back in operation this season and the free shuttle bus for Corfu town is back again with two routes daily! Its sad that we haven't managed to reach your expectations with all these exciting news. I would be more than happy to assess the mistakes of your stay and try and find ways and bring you back next year making sure that your recent stay with us was only a bad parenthesis! This hotel was beautiful and very well presented, the effort for Easter was also very impressive. The food was really well laid out and gave you a lot of option (adults and kids), the restaurant manager was always present and very helpful, the set up is good and keeps the restaurant clean - although please be aware there are a few cats on the veranda (I am allergic to cat hair so I wasn’t overly amused by this). The views are absolutely breathtaking and there is a nice walk round the beach that leads to a little fish restaurant which is fantastic! The pool is excellent despite a little cold in April but refreshing when weather permits, the bar staff will come to your sunbed for drinks etc.
Staff were beyond excellent, one lady in particular went above and beyond for me and my mum and really made us feel special and laugh every time she looked after us. (Think her name was Irina but a young, tall, long blonde hair in a pony tail from the main island).
However I do have some slight negatives:
We were unlucky with the weather so I thought I’d use the ‘gym’ however there is no gym it’s only 3 yoga mats and light dumbbells, and the roads aren’t ideal for running so I didn’t do any training which I usually do every day.
We used the spa for a massage which was good but hugely over priced, €130 for 1 hour which was just under 50 minutes, it’s only £50 back home for a full 1 hour. So was a little disappointing.
The house keeping wasn’t the best I’ve experienced, we only had our towels changed once in the week we were there and our bedding wasn’t changed at all. However the room was clean on our arrival.
My only other negative was how we were treated one night in the lobby bar after dinner by a member of staff. I had never experienced such poor attitude of service that I complained to the two managers who were by the bar. I think because I’m a younger guest (mid 20s) they didn’t really take me seriously, despite this holiday being a 60th birthday trip for my mum, so they just gave us a free round of drinks and said they would talk to the rude lady. Her service was still slow and unfriendly after anyway, only twice was she ever polite to us. It is this event that I sadly say I wouldn’t return to this hotel. I was so taken back by the event it’s not something you should experience in a 5* hotel and the bar management could have done a little more than one round of free drinks for two people. If it wasn’t for this experience I would return as the hotel, location rest of the staff and food is fantastic!

Dear Guest/Guests, We appreciate you taking the time to write us your comments about your recent stay with us and we thank you for this. Indeed we do have some cats wandering around the Hotel premises which are drawn to the restaurant sometimes and as quite a few people enjoy feeding them and like having them around and there are people that doens't like them or they have an allergy cuch as yourselves we try to keep a balance in keeping them away. Of course if a guest inform us that they have an issue with a cat being there we will take the necessary actions. Thank you for your kind words towards the staff and especially Irina. We will make sure to inform her that she made a difference in your stay at Eva Palace! Regarding the exercise possibilities at the Hotel we do specify on our website that we have an outdoors fitness area with free weights and an indoor fitness room with free weights and TRX equipment. We do not have a fully equiped gym, nor do we advertise as such on our website. The Spa prices are fairly priced compared to any other 5* Hotel Spa. The prices and kind of massage are shown to every guest before they decide to book. There are lower priced massage treatments that you could have booked instead. For the service provided from one of the staff at our lobby bar the Food & Beverage Manager talked with you immediately and provided a free round of drinks on the House not because you were young but as a good gesture due to you finding the attitude of the lady at the bar negative. All of us take seriously every negative comment made by our guests and if you remeber correctly the F&B Manager also immediately changed the staff serving you at the bar for the rest of the evening which again shows the service provided from the Hotel. Continuing training is of course being done every day to every member of our staff on how to provide the highest of Hotel services that we are known for. We hope you will give us another chance in the near future! Thank you. Kind Regards, Panayiotis Petrides General Manager

I will start off by saying the staff at the hotel were amazing very polite and attentive.
Our first impressions when entering the hotel was this does not look like the 5 star hotels that we are used to.
We booked online, and as it was the first holiday for a while due to covid we decided to upgrade to a bungalow instead of staying the main hotel. The photos online looked amazing.
When we were shown to our room, which was in a block of six, definitely not a bungalow ,as we know it. and not what we thought we had paid for, it was a basic room with holes in the curtains very dated in need of an urgent update but with an amazing sea view.
We booked through Tui who advertised that there were a number of specialized restaurants in the hotel, when there is only one, the Contessa. We were given a voucher for the restaurant as the all inclusive is not included in the Contessa.
We chose the meal we wanted from the hotel website but when we got there and handed in the voucher we were given a revised menu and what we had chosen from the website was not on the menu. We ordered something else from the revised menu and when it came, it was stone cold as if it had been taken out of a fridge and put straight on the plate, not good at all. If you had paid for the three course meal it would have cost you over 100 euros definite not good value for money
The swimming pool area is nice however you will need to dose yourself with mossie spray or get bitten to bits.
This may be seasonal we went in October and there were loads about then as well as the wasps who are always in corfu.
There are a couple of small restaurants nearby to give you a break from the food in the buffet restaurant which is the same every day I lost my appetite by the 5th day , I could not go into the buffet restaurant to face the same food every day.
I don’t want this review to stop you going to this hotel, but we will not be returning.

Dear guest, We do thank you for sharing with us and the world your experience following your recent stay at our hotel. Your review has some truth in it on certain points and a few exaggerations on others but please rest assured that we do know what has to be done to fix things and we will include them during this winter's rennovations. Indeed wasps and mosquitos are our visitors this part of the season but we try and control their presence through the frequent sprays we do as part of our pest control schedule. Your comments with regards our food did surprised us as it is an area for which we receive frequent compliments from our guests. I do want ro assure you that we will investigate of what happened at La Contessa and try to assess to any errors which might happened over there. Our aim through the years is offering to all our guests a seamless and pleasant stay and it seems that we have not succeeded it and we deeply apologize about this. We hope you had a safe trip back hope and we wish you a great winter ahead. Thank you. Kind regards, Panayiotis Petrides

We booked the Eva after a week at the Grecotel Daphnila as we wanted to try this hotel whilst in Corfu.
Whilst this is a nice hotel, we found the Grecotel Daphnila better suited our needs and moved back after one night. A special thank you to the lovely ladies in guest services for arranging the move smoothly and efficiently for us.
The hotel is built on a steep hill which affords amazing views of the bay but going down to the beach from the main hotel building is a bit of a trek requiring lifts and stairs. The pool area is very crowded with sunbeds taken early by other guests. The beach area is lovely though.
We booked a panoramic sea view room which was very comfortable with a lovely bed, but it's a great shame the beautiful view of the bay is somewhat obscured by a high and claustrophobic concrete balcony wall that could easily be replaced with some kind of railing. This small change would significantly improve the room.
We only tried the buffet dinner and breakfast during our stay and found it quite small with limited food choices and poor quality. There is a section for kids choices with chicken nuggets and spaghetti bolognese etc. and a small adjacent section for adults, we would expect more from 5* dining. The staff in the restaurant also appeared to be quite rushed and stressed, with one amusing incident where we asked to see the wine list and the lady serving us immediately brought us two glasses of rather poor white wine and a bottle of water, along with the bill for €16 before promptly rushing away. We wanted to choose our own drinks and this Faulty Towers type incident didn't endear us to this hotel. Additionally the buffet staff were constantly rushing to clear our plates, barely giving us time to finish eating our food.
Overall our experience of the Grecotel Eva didn't meet our expectations and we moved back to the Daphnila the next day. Great credit to the Grecotel staff for arranging this for us.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time and shared with us so many info for a rather very short stay! Please rest assured that we have carefully read your comments with regards the service in our main restaurant and we will look deeply into the matter. At the same time, please allow us not to share your opinion about the quality and choices of our buffet. If its something we take pride of and receive several compliments about, this is our food in general in all outlets from our buffet at the main restaurant to the A'La Carte restaurant and the Pool Bar. Thank you for commenting the kindness of our guest services staff. We hope your holidays continue smoothly at the Daphnila and we do wish you a safe trip back home. Thank you. Kind regards, Panayiotis Petrides General Manager

My husband and I have just returned from a 14 day stay at this hotel. Advertised as a 5 Star and after COVID no holidays etc., we were very excited for our stay. The hotel itself at first viewing is splendid entrance and reception very nice indeed, we were greeted with a welcome drink and given a few points about our stay. We were then shown to our room, it was all very nice, clean bed lined and toiletries etc. The view from our fifth floor balcony was stunning out over the bay and we enjoyed that very much. However when we went down to the dining room our lift stopped at a back entrance, I approached one of the servers to request a table for two and she told me I would have to walk the length of the dining room and queue at the back door to be seated! When we eventually got a table I couldn't believe my eyes little wee table with placemats I would possibly only use if eating outside at home this was laid with a fork knife and spoon and a paper napkin. The experience just got worse as the holiday went on, the food at the starter table the same every night, the main courses were the poorest I have ever had. One night we queued for 20 minutes for a table. I have eaten in better works canteens! To top it all the place had cats running around and we even saw one up on a table, so if you love cats this is the place for you. Booked a meal at La Contessa and because we were on half board we had a 20 euro discount the bill was 150 euro lovely meal but expensive considering we were on half board. Could not do that every night. Very disappointing all round, would I go back to this hotel - never!!

Dear guest, We do thank you for sharing with us your opinion following your recent stay at our hotel. Throughout the years we have been welcoming both positive and negative reviews as we consider them an opportunity to be better! Please note that I have carefully read your review more than once in order to understand of what really went wrong and If I may use your title, I would say that it is indeed dissapointing and sad of how a guest can easily rate a hotel with a 3 star for reasons that are simply a matter of taste and hotel's policies! You have mentioned that instead of the restaurant's main entrance, you have used the back entrance and one of the waiters correctly directed you at the main entrance where a team of hostesses are waiting for you in order to properly escort you to your table for dinner. The fact that you found our tables small it is something that really surprised us as we are using those tables for an adequate period of time without any other guests complaining about them. It is a proper square restaurant's table. With regards our daily visitors, indeed we have some cats that are not stray but belong to nearby permanent residents. These cats are not putting in danger any of our guests and do not interfere with our restaurant's operation. If guests don't feed them, they just walk away. You have mentioned that you saw a cat jumping on a table and please allow us to doubt it. Please note that our half board guests are entitled breakfast and dinner at our main restaurant as well as a €20.00 discount per person at our A'La Carte restaurants. It is something that we inform all our guests upon check-in as well as at each restaurant's entrance. All menus with the pricelists are visible at each restaurant's entrance. On a happy note, we do thank you for your kind words for our hotel's entrance, the stunning view from your room's balcony and of course for mentioning the cleanliness of your room and the adequate number of toiletries and amenities. It is sad that the size of the restaurant's table and the cats have shaded your overall experience! We deeply apologize for this! We do hope your trip back home was pleasant and we wish you a great winter ahead. Kind regards, Panayiotis Petrides General Manager

+1
I stayed at the hotel with my daughters. The only thing I was dissapointed is the fact that agency booked for us 5th floor and we were offered room at the 1st floor. I am not aware whose fault it is therefore I did not let this fact spoil our vacation. The hotel is lovely for quiet rest. The beach is cosy with great view. The service is friendly and fast. There were no problems with towels from the very morning and you can always find a place near the pool. There are quite a lot of stairs, to go to the beach, so if you have some health problems please be aware. If you want to go to Corfu city, there are paid boat and taxi trips, but also free shuttle twice a day which you have to book beforehand. The hotel staff was very helpful and reserved a table for us in the nearest taverna upon my request. If you want to have a dinner outside hotel, recommend taverna Apovrado with amazing views. We enjoyed our vacation a lot.

Shout out to the following staff at the hotel
The invisible cleaning staff
Niko, Maria and Georgia in the buffet restaurant
Maria and Biagio bar staff
All of the above provided excellent service with a smile or unseen cleaners who kept our room and all outside areas spotless
We did a bbq trip to the blue lagoon. Worth the 52 euros each. Great laugh and good was amaxing
Pirate ship trip around the harbour was also good value for money
Went to two local restaurants near our hotel. One had a swimming pool and views over the bay. The second had a shop plus views over the other side of the bay. Food and service was excellent. Leave hotel following the path at the outdoor buffet turn right and swim pool is on the left. Turn right out of hotel reception to second eatery not the first one you go to choose the second. Can also be reached via shuttle boat if you have the energy to walk up the mountains
Bit top is not to expect anything cheap on Corfu. Prices all similar and are top end of city prices. 9.50 euros for g

Hi Don't be put off by some of the reviews. We loved it apart from all the steps. The rooms I think were in keeping with the building. Not sure you want ultra modern in there. The bathrooms may be a little dated but you don't spend your holiday in there.
The only other thing which was a bit annoying was not being able to eat by the beach and pool on all inclusive .
We would love to go back when it is cooler as it was extremely hot to climb all the steps. Hope this helps.
Hi,
We stayed in a bungalow and it was beautiful. Hopefully you enjoy the stay as much as us.
Sorry - I don't know
Hi,
I am sorry I have just only seen this. Yes it is. The Ioinian Rose is amazing too! Miss this place!
Oh, I am so sorry I didn't see this. Defo a bungalow! I am sure I am too late and any choice you made at that hotel wull have been fab!
