No beach ,bad food 👎🏽👎🏽Hotel needs help

We had been to this place 6 times 1998,2011,2014 ,2015,2016,2017 Slowly this place ihas gone down big time . Its too bad ,I love cayo largo ... sirena and Paradiso are amazing beaches.... all and all you spend 45 min to 1 hr going there . Food is really bad .... and last time was not clean at all ! Got very sick . We’ll keep an eye on cayo largo ,needs work and some love this property. And I think employees should get paid better ,,, this way they would work happier . Many of them do their very best ,its not there fault. This cayo has amazing potential .... but not been looked after 🥴 O and one more thing , casa del Habano had no cigars . No COHIBA No Robaina And no hoyo .... las 2 trips

Nice experience

We wanted to take our kids to a paradise beach in the Caribbean ,for they only knew the Atlantic . And then we heard about this very reasonable offer at the playa bella isla resort. I think it was worth trying it even though the place was almost empty. Food was very good and varied and the staff very smiley and professional. In general the whole experience was positive but the most unforgettable thing from our visit was our time at playa sirena encountering friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Our thanks to all the staff

Traveled week of 22nd of Nov 2019 and was switched to this hotel by travel agent because the hotel I had booked was not ready to accommodate guests. At arrival check in was easy and fairly fast. Our room(241) had a great view of the sea and pool area. Physically the complex was just waking up from the summer season. Not all features were opened. The main dining room was not open due to the small number of guests however they had us eating at another near by dining area not far from main lobby. We had no issues with availability of food and there was enough variety considering this is Cuba and they do what they can with what they have available at the time. Bar had plenty of exotic drinks and beer. All in all we spent a great week at the Bella Isla resort. Would probably return. Special thanks to staff . …

great staff, nice weather!

We were put in a room that didn't work for us, they moved us into another room within 24 hours, which we appreciated! The staff were very nice, food was good, weather nice, beach not so much left. The hotel provided a bus service to a very nice beach and the turtle sanctuary was enjoyable too!

Romantic night

It’s a good place to stay for a journey in the Keys! Love this place ! They are 5 pools in the resort ! Beautiful scenic view ! I recommend this resort for couples or family ! I felt privileged in this area.

What is the process for booking a la cartes? Also can you eat in the ballerina section? Go to the bar in the ballerina section? Not trying to get something we didn't pay for - just looking to know. Thanks!

For a la carte's you book near the front desk at 9 am. She's not there for long. Not allowed to eat in the ballerina section. Their guests complain and you will be advised.

Are toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, cream) in the room? Just trying to plan for packing. TY

Yes there is hand soap,shampoo and conditioner, and lotion. I liked the shampoo. They have beach towels for the pool and beach. But dont lose one or it will cost you $25 😁

I just got back. You can buy internet cards at the front desk. It’s 1cuc per hour and it only works in the lobby and the airport

We're going to Bella Isla in a on Sunday and have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Are the outlets the same as Canada or do you need an adapter? Does the sea view room have a coffee maker/coffee? How often is fridge stocked? Are you allowed to visit the other resorts? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Fridges weren’t stocked but they bring around a big bottle of water every morning when servicing room. there was one outlet the same as Canada in bathroom. We stayed at Bella isla and you can go to every resort to look they put a bracelet on at check in so they know what resort you are staying in but we still went to different resorts. About coffee machines I’m unsure but a few of the bars made delicious coffee.

morning. just wondering if we get shuttled to other beaches, do we bring our own drinks or are drinks available for a fee? want to know in case need to bring monies on these trips. lol and.........how are the bugs? the no seeums?
