Stayed recently at Andrea Lodges. it’s hard to do justice to such a beautiful, idyllic Lodges. It’s not just the setting - located on arguably the most stunning area surrounded by an untouched nature in Mauritius.

The absolute gem for us is the team. The housekeeping ladies, always with a huge smile, the kitchen and fnb team, always caring and friendly, The reception and admin team who are always happy to assist and Anil & Navin, They are the nicest, friendliest team and they make every visit perfection. A huge shout out to Anil, Navin, Deevesh,Smita, Vandana, the chef and team, the housekeeping team, who’s completely focused on every guest having an incredible experience and is a total professional.

There is something incredibly special about Andrea Lodges. There are so many places to visit in Mauritius and yet we found our preferred one. Do not hesitate if you’re reading this. I promise you, you will not regret if you are a nature lover

I've did a lot of Lodges in Mauritius but Andrea Lodge is the best so far, really friendly team, we were the only couple on that night and they updraded us to the best lodge with views on cliff for free.
Value for money in term of food services and drink.
The barmen and team was nice to us friendly and caring at our needs.Highly recommended for those who want a cutoff with nice view and food.

I spent one night with my hubby there. Was a good cut off from the routine, a peaceful stay as I would term it. The place is nice, the concept is nice but unfortunately lots of issues to be tackled by the Management namely:

1. Dirty and creased bed linen upon arrival, stains and lots of human hair or even hairs found. I can bet that they were not fresh linen
2. Dirty bathroom glass panes
3. Noisy a/c, as if something is coming out of it at any moment
4. Noisy safe, making dialing sound, do you have ghosts using the safes please?
5. Dead Phone, we had to use our mobile phones to contact the reception
6. Awful, rusty fan - not the view that you want to have when you are in bed
7. Dusty bedside lamps, imagine the situation for guests allergic to dust, duhh!
8. Mouldy ceiling in bathroom area

We agree that we didn't pay to be in a luxury hotel and that we would be at a lodge in nature. But atleast we did not pay to be in a dirty room, with dirty linen around (bed sheets and towels). Disgusting!!!

Nevertheless, The food was yummy and the staff were courteous. Unfortunately no one to recommend for guest service.

Thanks
Guests of A4

We had one of the most memorable weekend at Andrea Lodge for my bestfriend's birthday.

Vanida from reservation booked us into the best lodge situated a few feet from the clift, with seaview from our bed.

We were on the half-board package. The dinner and breakfast was amazing. We wish to thank Veenashi, foufoune and Krity for the fabulous food.

Seemi made sure we were properly served all our meals. We cannot thank her enough ❤️

Anil entertained us with archery and the wonderful hike to the waterfall and the river for "natural massages" as he called it.

We have stayed at several properties around the island and so far, Andrea Lodge is at the top of our list.

The pictures couldn't capture the beauty of this place.

We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for an escape from their busy life and wanting to reconnect with nature.

Booked for a day at Andrea Lodge to celebrate a birthday. But was really dissappointed with everything.
Had to wait 2 full hours before the room was ready! Without any notice.
Lunch was pathetic... frozen stuff..
Really the whole package is not worth the price at all..
They have to review their price and menu!!

Have a nice and peaceful stay. The staff very professional and welcoming. The food very good and the cook came to meet us personally to ask for our preferred dishes. The Hiking was wonderful, lot of sight viewing. Thanks to Simi, Mireille, Anil (the guide) and Foufoune (the cook) for contributing to this nice and memorable experience.

Recommended for nature lovers, spectacular views and peaceful.
We spent 2 nights and had had great Hike of a few hours every day with our guide Anil, we walked along the cost and in land, we climbed over rocks and down mountains to the beautiful waterfalls, certain part of the paths can be muddy. Anil taught us all about the different trees, leaves and birds along the way.
Every morning at sunrise before the hikes the staff served us our coffee at the restaurant.

Restaurant serves excellent Mauritius food and snacks
Service was very good, rooms are clean and it was up the standards.

Breath-taking location, perched on the cliffs and a waterfall on the beach... Incredibly beautiful nature and wild seas! Footpaths lead to stunning coves with waves crashing against the rocks. Wonderful to see this in Mauritius. Reminds one of the Wildcoast in Transkei South Africa, and also of Big Sur in California USA! ABSOLUTELULY blown away. The setting of the dining room is magic, seeing ocean 190 degrees around you. I spotted whales which is an incredible experience .
Loved the staff and their attention to detail. Food was good. Due to illness I requested to have some meals in our bungalow and they went the extra mile with a smile. The rooms are lovely, with the most incredible view from your bed! There's nothing not to love about this little piece of heaven in Mauritius.
There are so many lovely places to visit in close proximity of the lodge, like St Aubin Rhum tasting, in a beautiful Chateaux. I left a piece of my heart in the South! No sandy beaches or a reef, but the ocean is incredible! Loved every second of listening to the soothing sound of waves. I will be back !!!

Depending on the duration of your stay you do not need to go to restaurants. The dinners at the Lodges are of great quality (no menu). Else best to have a car as in the South the distances are slightly bigger between places.

Accessible by car, but the road is indeed is very rugged; you'll be stuck on low gear most of the time, doing a max of 1-5 km/h. So cater for some additional time to get to there.

You will go there to relax in the woods... Activities are limited because its ideal for honeymooners... But u still have a pool, and also u have the ocean crashing their waves against the cliffs the whole day... u can go down and listen to the waves as part of a good relaxation therapy.. Activities like quad biking in the forest are also available
