Travellers' Choice
The entire team at the Costa Narejos hotel looks forward to lifting the confinement restrictions caused by the coronavirus, and wants you and your family to meet perfectly. As you will be aware, the Government has prepared different phases in the de-escalaada to return to "normality" in a reasonable time that allows mobility between different parts of our country, and for us to function, taking the appropriate health precautions, being able to use a significant number of rooms, as well as common areas. Unless change of criteria from our goverment, the date indicated in this regard is that of July 3rd, which we have taken as a reference to make the hotel open. We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate reservations with dates prior to July 3rd. This exclusive four-star hotel offers 191 stylish rooms including 1 suite, 5 junior suites and 58 family rooms (with a spacious living area with a sofa bed). Each of the 191 rooms and suites is equipped with a safe, air-conditioning, telephone, satellite T.V., mini-bar and an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer. The hotel is located in Los Alcázares which boasts one of the best beaches of the Mar Menor, 'Los Narejos' and is in an excellent location. It is easily accessible from San Javier Airport (3 kilometres ), Alicante Airport (60 kilometres ), the train station (14 kilometres) and is also in close proximity to the motorway. This hotel offers a warm and friendly atmosphere with all the excellent facilities you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

The Hotel is all about Location! Location! Location. You can fly to Corvera Airport or Alicante and it is a 40 to 60 min journey by taxi from there to the hotel. We got a 16.40 flight from Dublin and arrived in time for dinner that evening. Location is right beside the sea and by that I mean a 5 min walk , so as regular sea swimmers, that was fabulous for us. The sea was a balm for our busy souls with sunbeds, brollies and a little churingita (coffee spot) it was bliss! There is a choice of room sizes and as the world cup was on we went for a bigger size room so himself could watch the matches and I could read in the bedroom. There's a balcony with every room and the linens are regularly changed by very friendly staff. They have air conditioning so it is lovely to get back to a cool room after a day in the sun. The food OMG it is just gorgeous and what a choice. We went for bed, breakfast and evening meal and what a spread each day. Again the staff are superb and the food is served buffet style with the staff replenishing the food trays as they are emptied. You can get wine with the meal in the evening and they have some lovely specials in the wine categories on offer! The bar has a happy hour Mon to Fri and excellent entertainment in the evenings. There was a terrific Flamenco show which we really enjoyed. Such talent and I believe the dancer's day job is also in the hotel! The hotel is a lovely size not like those tiny boutique hotels where you can't swing a cat. There's a big reception area with lots of comfy seats and couches also a library where you can read and have a bit of quiet time. As you may have guessed I loved my stay in the hotel so I hope I have tempted you to try it but..........leave some room for me as I'll be back.

The room allocated was enormous for 2 people but very clean and comfortable even had a kitchen area. Only downside was there was no kettle and you had to pay €2.50 per person per night to hire one. Good location as near beach and bars and restaurants

Myself and my family have just returned from a 10day half board holiday, absolutely 1st Class from start to finish, service from all staff faultless, my granddaughter is gluten intolerant, all meals were prepared and served to her by the excellent and caring restaurant staff, with a 1st class general buffet and staff to match, I could fill many pages with my praises to all the wonderful staff of this hotel, Both myself and my husband, who is unfortunately no ,longer with us, have spent many holidays through the years, returning this year with my family to exactly the same faultless service from all.

I go to this hotel every year and I am always delighted with my stay. Everyone is very friendly and I spoke to a number of other British people who agreed with me that the Costa Narejos is a real gem. It has a mixed clientele - mostly Spanish families, of course, but with a number of other nationalities too. The pool, aircon, wifi and food are what you would expect from a top hotel but the prices are very, very reasonable. The drinks in the bar are superb value compared with London prices - the enormous gin tonic is just one example. There is lots for the kids too and the beach is just 5 minutes' walk away if they can be dragged away from the pool. You don't need to hire a car to get here - the hotel will arrange a transfer with a local company straight from the airport to the hotel, and the return. I arrived at Corvera airport at 12.30 and I was in my room by 14.00. Most people have half board and there are lots of beach bars and restaurants where you can find lunch; full board is also an option and is very good value. The Easyjet and Ryanair flights go to RMU (Region of Murcia) airport. It is one of the most efficient and least crowded I have ever visited, so don't worry about queues. Please give the Costa Narejos a try for next summer or autumn (the weather can still be warm in late October) - you really won't be disappointed.

Pleasant hotel in a fantastic position in Los Alcazares - right next to the strip with all the bars and restaurants and also very close to the fantastic beach. Staff were friendly but rooms dated and pool area is too small for the amount of guests. This is a 3 star experience really but perfectly acceptable for a family holiday. I would stay again

Great hotel - went full board and food was fantastic. Each meal had about 4 fish and for meat dishes plus loads of options for kids. Great salads, desserts too! Small family friendly hotel. Pool lovely with plenty shade from the sun in the morning and afternoon. Very close to beach and main restaurant area of town.

Another great holiday at this fab hotel. A 5 minute stroll to the beach and 5 minute walk to the strip with bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and lovely and every room has a balcony, they are cleaned every day with fresh towels. There's a hairdryer and super magnified shaving mirror in the bathroom, there's also a dispenser with shower gel/shampoo. The staff are all super friendly and lovely and just want you to enjoy your stay. The food is excellent with a buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and evening meal with salads, fish, meat, pasta's and lots of different deserts. If you book with the hotel they have an offer pay for breakfast and evening meal and stay for free (but not July, August) and you also get a spa voucher each for an hour in a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, all they ask for is one nights deposit at the time of booking and pay the balance when you arrive for your holiday. The pool and bar area are great with plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs. Can't wait to return in October.
