We stayed for 4 nights in early June. It's a great location in the centre of town and our room overlooked the meadow. There are stunning views of the mountains and glaciers from almost every window. The staff were great especially, Anna, Mommo and manager Philippe who were very helpful with our very poor Italian! Great walking of all levels straight from the door and a fantastic spa to sooth the aches and pains! We'd recommend the restaurant too, great value for money and excellent cuisine.

Beautiful hotel. It's comfortable, the breakfasts are good, the free spa is incredible and the view is superb. The price is also very reasonable for the hotel that it is. Staff is also very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at the Sant'Orso for four nights as part of a Road Scholar walking tour around Mont Blanc. This is a family run hotel well-located in the center of Cogne, a lovely, interesting town. In addition to family warmth and charm the hotel offers a modern pool and spa. Be sure to check out the relaxation room - a very pleasant surprise!

This was our first family vacation in the snow so we needed a lot of facilities for children and this hotel was just perfect: playground, snow park, ski lessons, everything was right there. And the hotel also has an indoor playroom as well as a small cinema with kids movies shown every day at 6pm. Perfection. We didn't have a chance to use the pool but we'll definitely do that too next time.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this inviting family-run hotel. We were part of a small tour group but would definitely return on our own. The pool and large spa area were nice surprises. The staff are very warm and capable, and speak English perfectly, which was a help to us. Our room had a good-sized balcony facing the mountains. The free wi-fi was on the slow side, so we switched it off and enjoyed the views. Everything was lovely.

The hotel offers many varieties for good money. It has a spa and swimming pool which comes with the price. Even when it rains you find activities indoors to do. The room was rustic but very well equipped. Each time we left the room it was tidied up. Staff was nice unusual for north italian haughtiness. Breakfast was normal italian breakfast + eggs. Very nice location with an awsome view on both window sides.

Really nice night here in August. Hotel faces the protected meadow. Friendly, friendly staff. Breakfast included. I would definitely stay here and especially considering the price and the season, it was a lovely stay. Free pool and spa too!

We started our visit on cogne on the grand pardiso hotel (a great hotel itself of the same owenrs but diffrent- see my other review) and was so charmed from this heaven we come back a day later and change our whole trip Schedule. we came back for another 2 perfect nights on the hotel sant'orso and that was definitely the highlight of our trip. The owner - Filippo Gerard is highly involved in this perfect hosting and the whole staff is a part of it... He gave us a full recomndation for cogne and of the rest of our trip and everyday was greater then the other.....Just didn't want to leave :) The perfect place in Conge (If not in Italy itself) Put it in your must visit places!!!!

The Sant' Orso is a nice hotel with a great spa. The rooms are clean with an old fashioned rustic. It is incredibly conveniently located in town and the staff are nice. A solid good hotel. The breakfast was good---service particularly good at breakfast.

We just enjoyed two nights at this wonderful hotel in the quaint village of Cogne in the mountains. Everyone on the staff made us feel as though it was our home. Louisa at reception was amazing, assisting with a smooth check in, parking, luggage and information about things to do and see in the area. She is a treasure. The hotel has been family owned for generations. The owner is on site ensuring his guests are well cared for, and the place is immaculately clean. The hotel has parking underneath, a convenient lift to all floors, a large and warming lounge area, an additional lounge area for movies or relaxation, terrific restaurant and incredible mountain views in all directions. Breakfast was in the top three of all during our current three month driving trip in Europe
