It is unlikely that there would be snow on the coast of NC in January, but it could be cold. The beach is actually quite nice to walk on in the winter, if you're ok with "bracing" air. There are no "spa" offerings in the B&B, but it's not far from Emerald Isle, which may have a spa. Businesses slow way down on the coast of NC in the winter, so it would be best to search the internet before counting on whether a specific business will be open, and if so, what hours. Nearest airports are Jacksonville or New Bern, but you should check to be sure connections would be available to your home airport. Raleigh is a much larger hub, but about 3-3 1/2 hours from the coast.
