Going to really miss the view of the intercoastal waterway from the Beaufort Suite each morning. Had a great stay. Dana and Perry are wonderful hosts. The in suite breakfast was great each day. Can't wait till we can get back!
When we booked this B&B, we did
not know what to expect. What a most wonderful experience. This B&B is immaculate with a rating of 100%!

We were visiting the Outer Banks and stayed here for two nights to explore Swansboro, Emerald Isle and Hammocks Beach State Park. The couple who run the B&B are exceptionally nice and go out of their way to help. We stayed in the first-floor Carteret...More

It is unlikely that there would be snow on the coast of NC in January, but it could be cold. The beach is actually quite nice to walk on in the winter, if you're ok with "bracing" air. There are no "spa" offerings in the B&B, but it's not far from Emerald Isle, which may have a spa. Businesses slow way down on the coast of NC in the winter, so it would be best to search the internet before counting on whether a specific business will be open, and if so, what hours. Nearest airports are Jacksonville or New Bern, but you should check to be sure connections would be available to your home airport. Raleigh is a much larger hub, but about 3-3 1/2 hours from the coast.
