hotel was lovely in itself looks exactly like the pictures. but me and my partner barely got any sleep the entire time as the bed might as well have been made from concrete, so we were exhausted our whole holiday and aching
This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we were glad to be back 5 years later. The accommodation comprise of several 2 storey blocks spread neatly across the sight and have an nice old world character to them (much more charming than the multi storey hotel blocks that dominate elsewhere in the Algarve). The grounds and the swimming pools are well kept and perfect for families. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchenette, which is okay for basic meals only. It was fairly quiet and early in the season when we visited, so we never had problems at breakfast or finding a sun lounger. Although the pools were on the cold side, but not unexpected given time of year. We love this location as Ferragudo, (a 5 minute walk away down hill) is such a charming, unspoilt fishing village, but certainly not sleepy as there are plenty enough eating venues to ensure a good atmosphere. Plenty of car parking around the hotel, if like us you are hiring a vehicle. The local beaches, Praia grande especially is about a 20 minute walk, but worth the effort.…
Great first holiday as a family perfect apartments are ideal and spacious so ment lots of seperate living space to chill while baby slept The hotel has a great chilled vibe and the local town also shares the same laid-back nature Great cocktail bar called kool cocktails literally 3 mins down the road and Dave's Indian also lovely Well stocked mini market on site and a Lidl 10 min walk down the road . Great location to visit neighbouring towns of portamio albufeira and carvoeiro The hotel itself and the grounds are immaculate
A pleasant two week stay. We started off on the ground floor but were disturbed by ants that won’t go away. Fatima, one of the reception staff very kindly moved us to another apartment on the first floor. This was certainly a lot more desirable with more light and fresh air. On the whole staff were most pleasant. The apartment was big with bedroom being separate from the lounge. Kitchen was well stocked and apartment was spotless and clean! Highly recommended especially as Ferragudo isn’t that big and not too touristy.
On arrival at Vitors Village where we had booked a two week self catering stay (30th Sept-14th Oct 2021) we were delighted at the general layout, the pools, greenery, the outward appearance of the apartments and the air of space and relaxation. However, our joy somewhat dissapated when being shown to our ground floor apartment No. 003B situated in the middle of a block of similar ground and 1st flooraccommodations. Inside we were immediately struck by the immaculate, well appointed but dim lounge area the source of which was found to be a large tree directly in front of the balcony and compounded by sunlight never illuminating the space at any time of the day. We could only look on in envy at fellow holidaymakers opposite and surrounding us enjoying their morning breakfast rays. Low voltage interior lighting did not dispel the gloom either making it difficult to see the controls of the non illuminated kitchen hob unit. Sadly outside of the apartment was also the assembly point of very friendly but noisey early morning cleaners. At this time due to covid restrictions the skyline viewing bar, pool bar, mini supermarket and entertainment were unavailable but the delightful nearby Ferragudo town centre made up for this. Overall Vitors Village has a definate appeal and we would return at a future date to the complex (but not to the gloom of 003B)!…
We had a downstairs room which, as other people mentioned here was indeed a bit loud. Can't judge how a upstairs room matters of course. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. There's also a evening diner possibility here as well as eating in the restaurant as take away. Pool facilities we're good. Appartement was good. Some minor hygienic issues but nothing to bother about. Bed however was not that good. Woke me up a few times a night. To be fair this might be portugal standard as we've stayed in different accommodations throughout and it was almost never good. Overall good experience. Would come back if the accommodation was in a different place but unfortunately Ferragudo was a bit too quiet for us to visit again.
Beautiful resort, really nice apartments. Perfect for families, also 3 swimming pools. Cleaning done daily unless not requested. Beautiful grounds. Very good location in ferragudo- easy to get to city centre & also close enough to other towns in the algarve- 30mins from albufiera by car. Breakfast got a bit boring after some time as same things- fried egg, boiled egg, baked beans, crepes, bread, yoghurt & some fruits.
Clean, friendly staff, good restaurants. Small shop on site, you can do laundry, there is a restaurant and snackbar. Good place to stay, beds are good, good shower. The one complaint my wife had, not nearly enough closet space in the bathroom, she had to keep het stuff (a lot, believe me) somewhere else and get it every time she needed it. She was right, btw. Still, can recommend this place, great pools, grounds are wel kept and clean, rooms are clean, modern and spacious. We will be back for sure. And keep hoping there will be more closet space in the bathroom. Really. But go there anyway, you won’t be sorry.
This is our 3rd time of staying at Vitor’s village. We absolutely love ferragudo as a holiday destination and Vitor’s village is in an ideal location. The beach Praia grand is a 10 minute walk away and the village is a 5 minute walk. In the past we always got the taxi ferry into portimao however due to Covid they now stop at 7pm. Instead we used Uber and it was a fraction of the price, €3 per trip. Vitor’s apartments are clean and spacious, I love that it’s always so quiet so you get a good nights sleep. The pool is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful. They have put great measures in place for Covid and the resort felt very safe. If you enjoy fish then Marisqueira Mare Viva is a lovely restaurant in ferragudo centre. This time we also found a superb restaurant a 20 flat minute walk Away called Restaurante Snack-Bar O Leme. We paid €35 per kilo for fresh fish cooked on the grill where in ferragudo most restaurants were €60-70 per kilo. Highly recommend talking a walk to this place. We cannot wait to return back to Vitor’s village... hopefully we will be back soon.…
