Thank you Manie and Waldo for creating such a special fantasy land! It was the perfect setting for our twentieth wedding anniversary and we can’t wait to return.
The viewsite patio is amazing - you can walk into the view and veld on a long gang-plank.
The interior is exactly how Alladin furnished his castle, filled with treasure.
The attention to detail is amazing.
Really recommend this accommodation, particularly if you have kids.

We had a choice of the Rapunzel Tower and the new Aladdin’s Palace, which we were thankfully allowed to view before choosing. Whilst the Rapunzel Tower was beautifully designed, we opted for the new establishment.
Aladdin’s Palace was so well thought out, taking the views into consideration and the whole design ethos. Carry your own food as you would not want to leave the place once you get there.
If you’re looking for a unique stay in Clarens, then the Castle in Clarens is a sure bet.
The slip road is not tarred and you would need a really slow short drive but with a 4x4, then it’s a breeze. All part of the adventure.
Well done to the owners Manie and Waldo. If you don’t want to stay here then also try out their other property which is Titanic View - Place of Peace, which we also coincidentally booked. You will be blown away by the views and the Japanese Garden.
