Just moments away from the sometimes hectic tourist frenzy of picturesque Clarens, the lucky traveller will find Millpond House, an oasis of peace, tranquility and gentility. Although there are well-appointed lodgings in the main house, we were graced to enjoy one of two adjoining semi self-catering garden suites giving onto shaded outdoor seating and terrace with well-trimmed lawn and rose hedges. All was clean and neat as a pin. Breakfast in the main house was sumptuous and graciously served by our most congenial hosts, Merri and Roger Mills. Millpond House ranks among the very best of our travel stays, if not the best.

What a lovely stay in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Owners are so accommodating and everything is perfect. The breakfast, in particular the cheese scones, is a delight. I cannot fault anything but if you are not into walking, the property is not an easy walk to the main village square.

Always a pleasure staying with Roger and Merri. They are family friends, but nonetheless go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The room is comfortable and provides everything that one needs and the bath is a must for me!! The garden is magical and the staff are always friendly. Will be back!

Millpond is a lovely B&B, very clean, beautifully decorated, gorgeous garden, breakfast delicious. Wonderful hosts who make you feel welcome as well as their lovely dogs. I highly recommend Millpond. Not too far from the centre of town.
